Hopefully he signs with Michigan and fills the RB slot that seems to be trending quite poorly for 2015 RBs. Would give them two juniors in Green-Smith and a RS soph Issac by the time he hits the field in 2015. That RB depth isn't too shabby.
He was looking pretty impressive before the leg injury.

He went forward. Last year. Unfortunately, in retrospect, that was kind of impressive.
As easy as it is for you to cite lack of statistics for reasons of him not necessarily being the NO 1 back, you can also say that there is reason to believe based on those carries he would've played.
It is unlikely that DJ will end up at the top of the depth chart at tailback. Nothing against the kid, but from my understanding of the depth chart and the assorted comings-and-goings, it is unlikely.
I don't care until he says he is coming to Michigan to play football.

Not to be that guy, but it sure seems that saying you are going to do something in recruiting and actually doing said thing are often two very different things.
After reading about Weber and with Harris seemly drifting further away, I want this guy pretty bad. Hopefully he goes blue!
I agree. Especially if he has to take a redshirt year, that puts him a year behind Green and Smith and only 1 year ahead of Harris/Weber. Then for 2016, hopefully recruiting is in a better place and Hoke/company snags a top-flight RB--maybe not of Harris's caliber but certainly on Weber's level.
Go Hoke and Nuss!! I feel confident with the ability of these two to sell what UM has to offer so if he doesn't end up here in the end it won't be because they failed to sell him on the strong points of the school.
Out of curisoity has anyone heard if Issac's parents were with him during the Illinois visit? Maybe its just coincidence but with Weber releasing his top 3 and UM out of it and Issac coming to campus w/ parents... Maybe He'll pull the trigger.

He'll presumably have to sit. Michigan is too far away for him to qualify for a hardship waiver.
And sitting would be fine for Michigan, I'd imagine. It would make him the de facto RB in the 2014 class (when we went after guys like Ballage but didn't sign anyone). He'd likely be the only RB with sophomore eligibility in 2015.
It is up to him. If he goes to a school within the hardship radius, he can play this season. If not, he sits.
Lets seal the deal boys! If we can land him and get him that waiver we could kill are running back issues. would he be a redshirt frosh or a sophmore?
He may even be an upgrade to what we already have.
