who get the first offers in two weeks. I expect Leaf and Thornton will for sure, with Thornton probably the only pure PG. That's a talented group of wings and combo guards showing interest..

Just looking at the numbers, especially those of Eron Harris, you can definitely see the advantage of having dual Erons on the team, even though it seems Harris might be a better fit. In the end, whatever happens, of course, but both of them showing interest in coming to Ann Arbor, recruit or transfer aside, is definitely a good sign for us.

Indy Star had another article on Thursday with further info on Gordon:

Though coaches can't contact him directly until June 15, a number of blueblood programs keep in touch with Gordon's family. Gordon said Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and Indiana are schools showing the most interest, though IU is the only program among those to offer a scholarship so far. He also has offers from Arizona State, Nebraska and Purdue.

Regarding Harris, I like the timing of his visits, and not just because Michigan will be the last of his three finalists he'll visit. Presumably, he'll be ready to make a decision shortly after his June 6-7 visit to Ann Arbor, so it looks like Beilein & Co. will be able to take his decision into account before issuing their offers to 2016 prospects on June 15.

What is truly amazing is Erin Harris is the only NCAA player other than nik stauskas to have that high a three point percentage unassisted and he is 6'2. We will miss that Canadian a lot - as far as college players go I don't think we will fully appreciate how amazing it is for someone almost 6'6 to create three point offense at that level.

I'd say the opposite. Nik's height enables him to shoot over smaller opponents off the dribble easier than a guy who is 6'2. Eron's height will probably help keep him in college until his eligibility expires.

2016 recruiting seems to be going awfully well. Seems like every week I'm seeing posts here or at UMHoops about a 4* or typically a 5* being interested in visiting Michigan
