I don't think we normally start seeing those until fall camp starts or perhaps just a little before, but I will say that they end up being the single most anticipated thread generally each day for those final 4-5 weeks before the season begins as they generate a good deal of discussion most days. It will be nice when football is in the air again.

For those of you making fun of soccer try tuning into the World Cup. Its one of the greatest events to watch. I am not even close to a Soccer fan but I always watch the World Cup.

For some reason this is the least excited I've been for Michigan Football in my life (29 years old). I don't really have a specific reason. I guess I've just learned to expect mediocrity. I also have a weird mix of feelings regarding the coaches. I want Hoke/Mattison to do well, but I'm beginning to have serious doubts about their ability to make this program a national power. However, I like them both so much that I don't have the urge to call for their heads. My mind is stuck in Football Purgatory.

Has it hit you all that the University of Michigan football team is under eight (8) months from having a 12th NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and 24th undefeated season in program history!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eight wins or under would simply be unexcusable for year four.

Considering I hold great sway in Michigan's athletic department my expectation is pretty serious stuff.  Great sway.  Serious stuff.

And by "great sway" I mean "no sway" and by "serious stuff" I mean I'll be sad for the entire year if Michigan doesn't do well.

but for what they are doing there on AA saline...it seems like the project could be done in a month.  Are they replacing the entire bridge or something?

They had the road near Target stripped down and a new concrete base poured the first weekend.  Then it seemed like molasses set in.

It seems like about 8 people work on a road construction job. But the natural resources of 8,000 people are affected and wasted each day.
