Connected on Espn just in time to watch the last inning....two home runs and then an amazing over the wall catch to save the game! Instant heart attack!

The boo-birds and loads of Tigers gear in Fenway, now the Michigan women hit back to back bombs to win at ASU. YES! What a night; time to go find my wife!

ON THE ROAD against the host team, and an ump who gave ASU the corners all night while Haylie had to earn every strike.

SCREW YOU HOME PLATE UMP, and AWESOME game lady wolves.

but anyone can recognize inconsistency, and that ump had no clue. It's hard to say which is more embarrassing - the seriously deficient umpires (I've seen them miss multiple calls at first, which is inexcusable) or the laughable announcers. I'd go with the umpires, because they actually impact the game.

The ump today was a total bum.

Did anyone else notice that FSU's pitcher was interviewed by ESPN after their game earlier today about how the team will prepare for ASU?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

that was ridiculous. They gave the briefest nod to how unlikely it was that ASU might lose two, and then moved straight into, okay, talk about the Sun Devils, your next opponent. I watched the end of that game just to see what you were talking about, and I know people like to say, of course you're fired up anyway, but if I'm coaching, everyone on the team gets a seat in front of a monitor to watch that clip.

Our team gave their all and played incredibly given the adveristy they fought through. I'm very glad to have caught this regional. Very well played by both sides and those pitchers deserve a very long ice bath. Kudos to Sappingfield and Romero for playing through flu like symptoms. Everybody really gave their best effort. Some great defense by the outfield and Monty had some very nice defensive plays at third. Of course very timely hitting by Sierra.

Huzzah team.

The first time in HISTORY Michigan has won 2-in-1 to win an NCAA Regional after losing a game.

Michigan is now 58-56-1 all-time against the Pac-12 after their record slipped to .500 with the Saturday loss to ASU.

Sierra Romero & Nicole Sappingfield were vomiting in the dugout between innings due to flu-like symptoms. This was performance was reminiscent of Cazzie Russell still playing against ohio with 103 degree fever.

Absolutely amazing. ASU has an incredible home record in the NCAA Tournament in recent years. Michigan has ended their season TWO years in a row now. And in turn, stopped the P12-loving ESPN from drooling over Dallas.

I had that sinking feeling when that ball was hit.  Looked like it was gone for sure.  Hell of catch and a hell of a comeback!  Go Blue!!

considering she's 64!

Anyone catch that from Beth Mowins leading off the last inning?

Lord, was she awful.

What a great win for our women!

Man, was that exciting.

You could see how the second game really wore on Sierra - it's always the second game when that gets you.

What a catch! I'm pretty sure that was gone. Doyle is one heck of an outfielder - she made great plays all weekend.

Someone had better make a gif of Hutch looking glum, then suddenly going "OH MY GOD!" when Doyle makes the catch.  It's a couple minutes after the game ends on the ESPNU broadcast.  Priceless look from a coach who's seen a lot, but is still able to be surprised!
