SB Open Thread

The SB Team will play ASU tonight at 6pm in the Tempe Regional.  The winner will play tomorrow for the Regional Championship.  The loser will play later tonight.

In the Tallahassee Regional, FSU beat South Florida 2-0 in 11 innings.  So FSU moves to the Championship tomorrow in the double elimination tourney.  The winner of our regional will play the winner of the Tallahassee Regional.

Our pitching needs to settle in and throw strikes.  Now this seems rather trivial but our pitching has been inconsistant.  We need to get the ball to strike ratio up.  This will keep the hitters off balance and then the pitchers can take chances with getting the batters to chase balls outside of the strike zone.

Michigan Baseball enters top of the 9th with the game tied at 2.

They are in the B9 now down 8-2.

So much for that.

Hutch turned the temperature up to 96 in the indoor batting cages last week for the team.

From what I've been told by one of the student managers I talk to, it was a dry heat yersterday and was comparable to a Michigan 85-90.

Error my ass. I'd like to see any of the scorers even attempt to make that play.
