OT: Miami Hurricanes get new UNIFORMZ

This isn't The Price is Right, you guys. It's a uniform. For a spring game.
Well, I can tell you that the insignia with the gloves and hands being together is kind of played out. It was cool in 2008 and 2009, but I think something new needs to be created.
I would argue that the "U" is the only one that actually seems to make any sense and have a corrolation to a previous tradition.
Oregon's O as well.

Given the ridiculousness we've seen around football and basketball these days, I'd just call those "Uniforms" not "Uniformz". They look reasonably normal, and somewhat understated (for 2014) which is somewhat shocking for a school like Miami IMO.

I've got no problem with these.
Old school U uniforms were awesome back in the day.
guys actually doing the Bernie? Either these dudes are some serious Oakland A's fans or. They are just way too easily impressed by some ok new uniforms.
That was worth the watch. I love the guy in glasses, leaning back, arms dangling and doing the shoulder-shimmy.
That would be the Bernie.
...of the reaction. Yeah, the dude in the glasses makes this worth it.
The last time MIAMI players were this excited was when Nevin Shapiro madie it rain.
I'm surprised no programs have offered to let star recruits design the team uniforms as an incentive to come to their school. Or maybe we just haven't heard about it?
ok, like every other dude put their fist to their mouth. Is that something the kids do these days when they see something they like?
Or hold the guy next to them back. I don't get it.
Because I'm sure everything you did when you were 20 years old was grounded in logic and reason. . .
The U's been doing that for years!!!!

Please post all 115 alternate uniforms as they come out.

You mean to tell me that there are this many young men who care so much about their appearance that they jump all around a room. Man, the vanity, our coach took all the mirrors out of our locker room, that shit ain't a fashion contest, it's a football game!

...they're rebanding the entire University right now. I believe they're going back to the "traditional" style for everything. (No, not the logo...just the look in the jerseys).
I expect them to do something like Northwestern, simple, yet unique.

This just conforms to my principle that we should in fact wear alternates at least once a year, because it plays a role in recruiting.
Every new uniform sequence gets kids pumped up. I know, I know... "Tradition, tradition.... Rabble rabble rabble. Tradition, tradition, rabble, rabble, rabble..."
I have no problem with us playing one non-conference night game a year vs. a big name, but "meh" team and getting all "untraditional" with it.
Wear the all-maize uniforms, play your RAWK, (don't touch the helmet), and make it very teen/young adult friendly.
For every other game during the year, it should be traditional Michigan.
But give them their night...no problem with that. Play mid-level big names like UNC, Ole Miss, Washington, Cal, UVA, etc.
You say "why not play a major/top ranked/powerhouse school?" Because I don't think Michigan should be playing the Texas/Alabama/Florida/FSU/etc.'s with alternate/funky uniforms. Be MICHIGAN on those days...
But give the young folks one night and one game. I think it would be fun...rock out in the all Maize and go play a team people know, but aren't going to get upset over if they miss the game because they don't wanna be part of the younger atmosphere.
Cool to see the guys get excited about it. Can't wait to see them!
Kids these days should care more about playing football, and less about how they look doing it.
when they get new clothes they like.
I have three daughters.
