Report: Vonleh Declares for Draft

Submitted by bballislife22 on
@GaryParrishCBS reporting on Twitter that Noah Vonleh will declare for the NBA draft. He was a good talent, and I'm sure the rest of the teams in the Big Ten won't be sad to see him go. I guess when you don't get invited to either the NCAA or the NIT you can decide earlier than everyone else (ha).

He should be able to get out of it anyway. I'd like to see a rule instituted that if you sign in November any contact from another school with a recruit is strictly prohibited but if the player just flat out changes his mind on his own, he can bolt.

No one could want to be associated with IU right now. I don't know but it feels like Blackmon made a very spur of the moment decision to stay near home. Wouldn't be surprised if he regrets it.

I hate Crean, but he has some talent piling up. Losing Vonleh makes me feel better about facing them next year. Yogi, Williams, Robinson, and Davis all look like they are good or will be good.

We can be happy about leaving early!

Gary Harris, do you have something you'd like to share?

Nik, Glenn, Mitch, sit down, no one was talking to you guys!

Go Blue!

They have a good class, but like many have said - they've got no PG.  They'll have good young with players for sure, but who is going to bring the ball up?  Who is going to guard Walton?

are tiring of Crean.  Great recruiter, lousy game prep and in game coaching.  They are still upset over the dismal showing against Syracuse last year.  Thought they had a National Championship caliber team.

Mandatory. Also soph Jeremy Hollowell and R soph Austin Etherington are transferring. So Tom, now 7 of your 10 upperclassmen are graduating or transferring from Indiana. Your thoughts?
