I love watching snow games. Unbelievable performance by Brady.

crazy. this is worse than the deleware state game
October 18th, 2009 at 5:54 PM ^
Exactly what I was thinking. Tenn. is playing terribly.

Not just 5 in one quarter... but with snow and wind. That's worth six!
And with all the comparisons of Drew Dileo to Wes Welker.... I hope it's 50% correct!!!
October 18th, 2009 at 6:06 PM ^
I hope it's 100% correct.

Brady is insane right now. The fact that 5 TD's have never been thrown before in a quarter and Brady did is excellent, but with him doing this in the snow is just fucking crazy. Go Brady Go..

6 now
October 18th, 2009 at 6:20 PM ^
They just shifted to the "more competitive" Jets-Bills game.
Who cares?
We want to see Brady throw 10 TDs!!!
October 18th, 2009 at 6:22 PM ^
you wonder why tennessee doesn't put in vince young.
October 18th, 2009 at 6:25 PM ^
a Michigan offensive lineup of players who are in the NFL right now. I bet we could come up with a really kick ass lineup.
October 18th, 2009 at 6:45 PM ^
Brady, Perry, Edwards, Avant, Manningham, Breaston, Backus, Baas, Hutchinson, Long and no center although you could probably put someone like Goodwin at center in this hypothetical.
Edit: ESPN has him listed as a G, but he is listed as a center on New Orleans' roster.

Throw Runyan on there...great lineman
October 18th, 2009 at 6:57 PM ^
wait...he just retired didn't he?
October 18th, 2009 at 6:55 PM ^
Put Goodwin at guard and Baas at center. Baas played there as a senior and won the Rimington Award.
October 18th, 2009 at 6:28 PM ^
Tom Brady throwing to Mario Manningham, Jason Avant and Stevie Breaston. Not bad.
October 18th, 2009 at 6:29 PM ^
And Braylon Edwards.
October 18th, 2009 at 6:42 PM ^
The idea of all of them playing together in the NFL made my brain pop.
October 18th, 2009 at 6:44 PM ^
The last Patriots score:
Brian Hoyer 1 yd TD run...
October 18th, 2009 at 7:13 PM ^
Where's the irony?
October 18th, 2009 at 7:58 PM ^
... here it goes.
Hoyer is a Spartan, doing mop-up for the Wolverine.
That said, Hoyer was 9/11 for 52 yards, no picks, no TDs.
And (drumroll, please) Tom Brady:
29/34, for 380 yds; 6 TDs, 0 INTs.
That is a 152.8 rating per ESPN. Highest possible is 158.3.
October 18th, 2009 at 6:44 PM ^
29 of 34 for 380 and 6TD. Pulled early in the 3rd quarter. WHAT?
October 18th, 2009 at 7:05 PM ^
1. The stats you cited.
2. It's snowing in Foxboro and he missed all of last year with a severe knee injury.
3. Tom has you-know-who waiting for him (see other thread).
October 18th, 2009 at 6:52 PM ^
158.3?
October 18th, 2009 at 6:54 PM ^
The funniest part was they came out in the 2nd half up 45 and were running play action and throwing downfield with all starters in the game. Belichick loves every second of this.
Edit: Pats just went for it on 4th and 7 in the redzone...Belichick shows no mercy

"Pats just went for it on 4th and 7 in the redzone...Belichick shows no mercy"
Some would say that not kicking the FG is not running up the score. I didn't see the play, but at 4th and 7, you'd expect the D to make that stop. Of course, if you're bad on D, it's not the offense's fault.

Rodriguez did the same thing against Del St.
