Fill Out Your Brackets (FINALLY!!!)

Submitted by Saint_in_Blue on

Now that we've had a couple hours to calm down and digest what has happened, it is FINALLY that time to get all your brackets filled out! Good luck to everyone!

I just got done listening to every single ESPN analyst pick Sparty to win the tournament. Apparently, beating Michigan for the B1G tourny title puts them back on that horse. <sigh> I'm sure no one here is going to make that mistake.

If that happened..............

Message Boards would crash.

Friendships would get ruined.

Marriages would get ruined.

Families torn apart.

The state of Michigan would be up in flames.

I like it!

Every bracket I make I just keep thinking Florida to win it all and Michigan losing to Duke in the Sweet 16. Anyone else thinking the same?

With MSU's bracket it would be a disappointment for them to not reach the Eltie Eight, minimum.

My thought has been that Beilein would have a week to prepare the team for Duke, and they wouldn't have to suffer through Cameron officiating (just normal college ref random incompetence). So I have them beating Duke but losing in the Elite 8.

Has anyone else had issues with the Quicken Loans Bracket? I signed up, submitted my phone number, they texted me back confirmation, then they sent an email confirmation. I clicked it and now it says my phone number is already submitted but i can play for bragging rights.

I ain't trying to play for no bragging rights.

I am working on my projection right now and I am not picking the Spartans to go quite as far as ESPN simply based on the number of possible outcomes and also the notion that a team can play 1.5 inspired games in a conference tournament and suddenly be part of the NC narrative is beyond me honestly. The reasoning, if there was any on ESPN, did not register.

I have Virginia beating Sparty. Everyone just told me how good Virginia was and now they are telling me Sparty is better? What am I supposed to do?

God this week is going to be painful to listen to the media.

If you didn't hear it yet, according to ESPN analysts (unanimously) Louisville is playing MSU for the national championship on Thursday and the tournament is forgoing the other 66 games.

I'll probably do a knee jerk bracket tonight, then wait for the WSJ Blindfold Bracket later this week to do any alterations.

My Final Four consists of Florida, Louisville, Arizona, and North Carolina.

Michigan loses to Louisville in the E8

MSU loses to North Carolina in the E8 (Tom Izzo sucks against UNC)

For those of you picking Louisville along with the rest of the ESPN analysts. Remember this: their best wins of their 300th strength non-conference schedule are USM and LA-Lafayette.

Wichita St, Michigan, Duke, Kentucky all have offenses that are 15-20 points per 100 possession better than Louisville's seasonal average opponent.
