OT: Steelers Officially Release Lamar Woodley
He will land somewhere for a 2 year deal probably. And a pay cut. Best of luck Lamar!
I would love to see that.
on the Ryan Mundy thread.
He'll land somewhere else. And they can't take this away from him.
If not, it looks a lot like him.
If yes, damn, when did he get that afro?
That arm is bigger than my whole body.
That sees Jalen Rose with a huge arm?

I know you're a Raiders fan obviously and i'm sorry about that but, please don't wish Woodley to the Raiders. I'm a Browns fans and even tho i'd love to have him in Cleveland I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy right now
Woodley isn't close to done, competition to sign him will be fierce.
He'll land somewhere I'm guessing, though I do remember reading somewhere that there were concerns about his ability to play every down. Of course, he's still a good pass rusher, so he should still find a home on lots of teams.
I think that Woodley is now #21 in NFL.com's assessment of the most sought after free agents in this offseason after this release, and I am pretty sure that he'll get the opportunity to do Woodley things elsewhere. He's only 29 and he's a rather good LB when healthy.
Someone on 105.1 here in Detroit was saying that Woodley has expressed a desire to return home, but I've not been able to find evidence of that as yet.
We need a 3-4 OLB and someone to mentor Brandon Graham!
Apparently Golden Tate is visiting with the Lolions tomorrow. Could be a good pickup. I'm getting back on the fucking bandwagon. http://msn.foxsports.com/detroit/story/golden-tate-to-visit-lions-031114
I've been a fan for 33 years. I quit on the team this year and cost us a couple of victories and maybe a playoff spot. I've apologized to my fellow fans and have been accepted back into the fold.
LOLions!
I don't like to yell.
then you must be glad scott mitchell is gone. he was the cause of much yelling in my living room. but that was back before kids and when i used to care enough to yell. now i dull the pain with jameson and all is well.
Wondering if Woodley might be better as a hand-down defensive end than a stand-up linebacker.
