What do we all think?  I'm personally a fan.

Edit:  Here is a full version in Blue

just an alternate?  Our jerseys MUST say Michigan.  I have always thought the "Spartans" on Staee's jerseys looks terrible. If this is a proposed permanent jersey I will be upset.

I agree to a certain extent. The football jerseys should never have "Michigan" or "Wolverines" across the top front, but with basketball jerseys, it doesn't bother me as much. I'd prefer them to just say "MICHIGAN" but it won't bother me that much if they say "Wolverines." They can wear hot pink for all I care so long as they win.

Our jerseys SHOULD say Michigan.

Look, I know we are the Wolverines.  Fine, OK.  We don't have a mascot, the wolverine does not feature prominently in any of Michigan gear, it has never been a big part of the program's identity.  Victors would actually make more sense on the front of our jerseys than Wolverines.

I definitely prefer "Michigan" on the jerseys to "Wolverines," but "Victors" would be worse still.

"Victors" would make little sense to anyone who isn't a Michigan fan, and even some of our fans would have to stop and think for a second.  (And if we lost a game while wearing "Victors" jerseys, we'd never hear the end of it.)

I am not sure if I would prefer Michigan instead of Wolverines or if I am just so used to seeing Michigan I am biased. Compared to other Adidas jerseys they don't look half bad. Hopefully they don't tear like last year.

It's strange how some have the school name (Louisville, UCLA, Kansas) while others have the mascots (Wolverines, Badgers, Bearcats)

We only wore the blue because the regular blue road unis were shelved after the jersey-tear disaster at Minnesota. After that game they wore maize as much as possible, and rotated through other uniforms (including year-old versions) when blue was vital.

Only partly in jest.  Of course it was easy to tell who was who when they did closeups and non-action shots and stuff.  On the other hand, it made it ridiculously hard to tell who was doing what in real-time TV action.  As in, when we actually care who is who; "there's Trey Burke" is not real exciting or useful information in the walk-toward-the-huddle shot.  As said above: The damn numbers should be legible.  It'd also be nice if "MICHIGAN" and the player's name were legible too, but I'm of an older mindset and understand that sort of thing now takes a back seat to looking totally siccccckkkkckckckc.

Eh. I don't hate it, which is a good thing. This jersey release is comparable to those weird print shorts they used last year as the blue unis (but pretty much rejected otherwise). And on that scale these are much better. I still actually like the existing uniforms quite a bit, but these aren't awful.

We're like the anti-mascot school. Everyone knows we're the Wolverines but everythign is just "MICHIGAN". For all intensive purposes, Michigan might as well be our real mascot

It's all the frilly trim, hidden behind the Purdue player above, that detracts from it.

Other than "Wolverines" replacing "Michigan", I actually like the uniform pictured by the OP.  More specifically, I dislike it less than our current uniforms because it lessens (but does not eliminate) the frilly trim.

I don't mind it. What does Baylor's jersey say though? Looks like it starts out "Sic..." across the top. That doesn't make sense for the Baylor University Bears...in Waco, TX.

Maybe it says "Sic 'em Bears"?
