Preview: Crisler Center Rafters - Update: Scroll down for a special guest appearance
Shit. Give me a minute. I have been drinking.
Update.
Beautiful. Well done LLB.
That shows how good our program has been historically. Seven Final Fours in 50 years, or about one every seven years - and that's despite the decade of crappiness we recently went through.
I don't have mixed emotions. I was heavy into basketball as a 12-13 year old and I will never forget the fab five and how they made me feel. Banners should be up there.
If we win on Tuesday, do we rest our players against Indiana?
Former Espn personality Bob Glauber looks just like that ass-hat.
and them spending every one of our possessions chucking the ball at Crean.
Okay, I wouldn't be okay with that but a man can dream. I don't think I'll ever be able to see Crean without remembering that obnoxious look on his face as he accosted Meyer.
Tempting but we still have NCAA tournament seeding to play for.
Can't do that. We're trying to get as high a seed as possible in the NCAA tournament. Losing at home to a meh team isn't a good idea in that regard.
No need to worry about fatigue with four days off between games. Plus I want to sweep the rest of the schedule and B1G Tourney for an outside shot at a #1 or #2 seed.
Rest them for what?
Next year.
We'll start with B1G Champs and go up from there.
That is an interesting idea.
That wouldn't happen of course - but I think it should. What a way to reward the players and senior(s).
I don't see why they couldn't do a banner ceremony after the Indiana game. Michigan State did it three years ago on their Senior Night, I think it would be a great way to send out JMo and anybody else who may be playing their last game at Crisler.
a shared title secured. They didn't win it outright until their next game against us at Crisler. Sorry I had to brig up that game.
Y'all need to get your butts to Crisler for the Indiana game. Here's to a net-cutting ceremony on Senior Day!!
desperation 3 at Wiscy. Ugh.
only 3 guys on our roster have been Big Ten Champions.
