Just not playing smart basketball. A ton of sloppy passes and really bad decisions. Every time they look ready for a run, there has been a frustratingly sloppy turnover.

...where stops are FAR more important than scoring.

And what I mean is, you can't rely on executing your offense or making shots. But if you get stops, you can get transition baskets and secondary breaks that give you easy buckets.

We can't try to trade baskets or even rely on making two baskets to their one. Because eventually we're going to go in a drought.

Just get stops, get out in the open floor and watch their lead fade.

Part of me thinks he should start.

Now whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm not saying their minutes should change. I think they're perfect at 28-12 for the PG position (in favor of Walton).

But Spike just seems to get things going for us. It's unorthodox, but I wouldn't be against seeing him start both halfs even though Walton would get the "starters minutes."

The freshmen sparked it. Walton had 4 or 5 points to start the half, now Irvin. We NEED them to participate when Nik and Caris aren't raining the fire of the gods.
