Well....it's not a suspendable gesture like the double deuce, but it probably earns a T if during the game.

What I found most enjoyable really was watching the Sparties get butthurt over the blown kiss and rushing to defend Payne for his own showboating.  Immediately I thought "he's gonna get T'ed up" and the refs did not disappoint.

Check out at 1:05:05 on the video(8:57 mark of the game after the refs are explaining what the call is). Izzo tells the refs that "he (Beilein) is b_?_ you guys" and then he totally yells "f*** you" to Beilein.

sealed the deal. I thought Beilein worked the refs well yesterday. (And the refs for their part called some early stuff, including on Costello, that helped us.) He chooses his spots, but--also--at this stage he has their complete respect. Wasn't always getting things his way when he first entered the league.

StatSheet had some interesting stuff in their game notes actually...

 - 9 FGs made is a career high for Nik Stauskas

 - When our FG% is 50% or better this season, we are 12-1

 - That was the 7th 20-point game for Caris Levert

 - GRIII has led the team in total rebounds five time this season

has shown a tremendous amount of fire and passion in these two games against State.  He nearly blew a gasket at Breslin and probably deserved a T.  Yesterday he was as intense as I can remember in one of these games.

The man has become Michigan through and through, love his passion and his desire to win at Michigan.

Every time there's a foul off the ball the commentators groan about "nickel-dimers" or "small change." I'm thinking, there's no way you were watching off the ball in real time, so how do you know? They show a replay and our guy got impeded from cutting in a major way. The immediate reaction is that off-ball fouls are more nitpicky, sure, but they still exist and they can still affect the game if unchecked.
