Jeremy Gallon runs a 4.45 40!!!

Who knew? That has to help his draft stock. All UM prospects should stick with whoever trained Taylor and Jeremy. Very impressive so far...

He measured in at 5'7. That will hurt his draft stock. But I don't think it matters when he is drafted. He would be a steal in the 3rd round. He just makes plays. And plays much bigger than 5'7.

In the 3rd round he wouldn't be a steal.  That's implying he's a first or second round talent.  He's not.  He might have a nice career, but he'd be a steal in 5-7.  Nobody will take a chance on him any higher than that.

Tavon Austin was the 8th overall pick last year, and he measured 5'8" at the combine.  Gallon isn't as ridiculously explosive as Austin, but I think a lot of NFL teams are starting to look beyond height in a receiver, particularly now that everyone uses spread formations with slot receivers.

Of course he measured 5"7. Did you expect him to magically be 6ft ? We have known he's short, but this forty time is great ! He seemed shifter than fast to me, I expected a mid 4.5. Great news for Gallon !

What's most impressive to me about lewan is that with him at 300 pound and me at 175, it would take a distance of at least 200 meters for me to even come close to beating him in a foot race. And, it would take at least a half mile for me to soundly beat him.

It's absolutely incredible how explosive he is.

I was thinking the same thing. Brady would love a weapon like Gallon. The other team I could see him fitting well with is Chicago. With the two big receivers constantly drawing attention on the outside Gallon would get some great match ups in the slot. Add the TE Chicago has and that is a point scoring machine. Also, living here in Denver I hear some rumors about the Broncos dropping Welker to be able to resign Decker (which receivers they should keep is a big talk radio topic out here), and if they go that route Gallon would be a great weapon for Manning. Hope Gallon has a great NFL career.

Man I really hope he goes somewhere that utilizes the slot man or have a QB that can get him the ball. He deserves that! I'll be a huge fan wherever he goes!

But both Welker and Amendola have carved out roles after going undrafted despite outstanding college production. Given the depth of this WR draft, that very well may be Gallon's fate.

I think he did Ok he didnt really Wow everyone Like Taylor Lewan Michigan NFL talent Pool has declined considerably for developing players for the NFL Level Yes it has a history yes it has Tradition however When Johnny Football runs a time comParable to one of Michigans best Athletes Jeremy Gallon what is that saying...Brady Hoke needs get staff too recruit against guys like Urban Meyer and Mark Dantonio Kevin Sumlin Nick Saban etc. Then Michigan players will have more revelance then just Hype and past Glory..I dont see it happening under Hoke he is a JOKE
