Student Radio Station WCBN Sports Deparment is broadcasting the game via Ustream here. We are biased as hell but we know Michigan hockey

I will start to worry about making the tournament. If we lose a game, I will be very concerned

It's kind of terrifying that I have the most faith in Lohan of all the non-Mac blue liners.

Over/under for how many times we are reminded that Penn State's first Big Ten win was against us: 10.5
Who's daring enough to take the under?
February 21st, 2014 at 6:29 PM ^
Also, let's hope we get Nagelvoort tonight and not Zagelvoort
February 21st, 2014 at 6:35 PM ^
They're not as bad as their record indicates. I've watched them a few times this year and they always play hard and stay in the game. Gadowsky is probably going to have them pretty good in not too long

How did the linesman miss that offsides???
Also PSU was courteous enough to even it up for us

NIeves finally scores!
Also I enjoyed how DeBlois just tagged Boo with a pass before that goal

PDG. 2-0
Alright, all of our NHL draft picks who struggle to score are scoring tonight. Guptill and Moffatt are next

PDG made a really good play on the back check to set up that transition opportunity. Glad to see him get rewarded with a goal.
February 21st, 2014 at 6:43 PM ^
Chucked one in front and PSU got the rebound. That's like 3 goals within 90 seconds
2-1

I never get used to how many girls are in the hockey student section. I always think it's a dude-fest but then you see us on TV and there are a lot of females in there

Should've been 2-2 but PSU missed the net
February 21st, 2014 at 6:49 PM ^
They know they can beat us unfortunately
February 21st, 2014 at 6:53 PM ^
but I am starting to miss playing teams like Lake State, Alaska, BGSU, etc. It just feels like Michigan hockey to play them
February 21st, 2014 at 6:58 PM ^
Lake State I didn't mind, but I hated the trip to Alaska and Northern Michigan. Trap series all the way.
February 21st, 2014 at 6:54 PM ^
PSU is closer to tying it than we are to extending the lead
February 21st, 2014 at 6:56 PM ^
Nice play
February 21st, 2014 at 6:57 PM ^
Beautiful beautiful assist by Copp. Goal by Motte
3-1
February 21st, 2014 at 6:57 PM ^
Nicely done, boys.
February 21st, 2014 at 6:57 PM ^
Copp fanned on that at 1st too.

Good to turn on BTN and hear Joe Beninati do the game. He does the Caps games on TV 'round here.
February 21st, 2014 at 7:04 PM ^
It was more even than I would've liked it but 3-1 is 3-1
February 21st, 2014 at 7:23 PM ^
A lot of really weird bounces off the boards tonight. I've seen at least four pucks take really odd deflections
February 21st, 2014 at 7:24 PM ^
we are offsides so much tonight. WTF is going on there?
February 21st, 2014 at 7:29 PM ^
And they somehow lead the league in shots taken? Seems strange. They must be getting a lot of credit for just chucking it at the night because they aren't getting many scoring chances for their shots
Wouldn't be surprised if Gadowsky is just coaching them to put it on net at all times

February 21st, 2014 at 7:41 PM ^
What is he doing. Led right to a scoring chance
February 21st, 2014 at 7:38 PM ^
Lohan has been solid, but we're still getting turnovers from the usual suspects.
February 21st, 2014 at 7:39 PM ^
It's been brutal watching us struggle to clear the zone against Penn State of all teams
February 21st, 2014 at 7:39 PM ^
I kind of hate that Penn State is playing us this close at home
February 21st, 2014 at 7:46 PM ^
Michigan finally starting to possess the puck like we should be able to. A lot of time in the PSU zone right now
February 21st, 2014 at 7:50 PM ^
Will my view be obstructed?
I know that pre-renovations, if you sat toward the top couple of rows of the student section side (which I'm not on tomorrow), then that could be an issue.
Thanks for any help, fellow hockey die-hards--GO BLUE GO!

Sweet you guys
3-2
February 21st, 2014 at 7:54 PM ^
I might hate sports. So frustrating to watch Michigan hockey the last few years. Enormously talented teams just lolly-gagging around on the ice

I watch this Penn State team composed of a lot of ACHA-Division 1 hybrid players and I see them out-hustling a team made up of NHL draft picks. You can see that Penn State "wants it" while our guys always skate around with a deer in the headlights look
"Coach he's trying to take the puck from me! What do I do?"
It happens time and time again. We're never the aggressor. We just skate around and hope something happens

That was a really weak goal Naglevoort allowed at the end. Ugh. Need November Naglevoort.

Let's put it in. Penn State is probably going to score again so it would be prudent of us to score more
