Moe Wagner GOES OFF in first NBA start

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on March 10th, 2019 at 12:05 AM

finally some good news, Moe got his first career start tonight with the Lakers and a game.

22 points, 6 rebounds in 34 minutes.

Pretty cool to see Lebron assisting on a Moe 3 pointer. Proud of him. Hopefully we get his brother for next season.

Ok I promise not to turn this into a depressing thing, but Moe was such a big reason we beat MSU last year. Having a big that can draw out their centers to the three point line opens up driving lanes. I was so sick watching all of our layups get swatted into the second row because Tillman was just there waiting. Teske is great, but he is not a good matchup against MSU

...and Teske is an even worse matchup when he gets in foul trouble and has to go to the bench. Castleton has a little something on offense right now, but he's got nothing on defense...and Brandon Johns is in need of experience, too. Both those guys should be redshirting or playing only garbage-time minutes.

Moe really seems like the guy that was able to put us over the edge last year. His enthusiasm and leadership was contagious even as a fan. I can only imagine how that was as a fellow player

Im glad he is FINALLY going to get some good minutes since Lakers are eliminated from the playoff contention and riddled with injuries

The Lakers and Luke Walton have done a piss poor job of developing their 1st round pick Mo Wagner. He hasn't gotten a fair shot all year. The Lakers had such little hope in Wagner that they traded Zubac for fucking Mike Muscala to play over Wagner. And what do you know his first start he drops 22 on 7/13

Also, His teammates have been garbage man. Lance Stephenson leaving him on the ground that one game. Lebron has been pretty harsh towards him.

I hope Mo proves all those downers and doubters wrong......and eventually comes to play for Detroit
