Football visitors this weekend

Here's a list of players who are planning to visit Michigan this weekend (LINK). Spoiler alert: 5-star offensive lineman Justin Rogers is slated to be back on campus again.

I'll update the list throughout the weekend, and I'm sure there will be some more additions, since a team named, uh, Michigan State is coming to town.

I'm interested to see how Martinez's recruitment plays out now that OSU has jumped in. His brother (the QB at Northwood) was a huge OSU fan I guess, so this might not strictly be a Michigan-MSU battle.

What are your thoughts on Justin Rogers? Trying to read between the lines with what the great Sam Webb is saying makes it seem like it is unlikely he comes. I recall Sam saying something along the lines of he will do what’s best for his family. And the more recent tone is yes he is visiting a lot but. I’m still in the camp of I’ll believe it when I see it with this recruitment.

I listened to Webb’s update on Rogers yesterday and I didn’t get any hints of but... he said or implied that he didn’t necessarily buy into the notion that Rogers was heading south. I agree he didn’t say anything to indicate UM was becoming a likely destination just yet, but he also said that Rogers has visited Michigan four or five times in the last several months, and IMHO that would be an odd thing to do if he had zero interest in us.

Magnus - not sure you’ll see this as it’s buried on page 2 already but I’m wondering what kind of influence/impression it makes on recruits when they visit and then see a loss... especially to MSU. In general, is it over for them as far as M goes after a weekend like this or do they take it in stride and focus on the whole football thing?
