Penn State's had a mass of transfers put of State College so far this offseason but here's one coming in.

Campbell was a 5 star recruit out of high school and he initially committed to Hoke and co in July 2013 before decomitting in December and going to FSU. Campbell's FSU career has been a bust due to injuries though, only playing in 7 games and catching 13 passes over 4 years. We'll see if he has any success with Frames.

His career has also been a bust because he can't catch.  He was fast as hell as a recruit, but had terrible hands.  Watched him at a couple of camps and the dude just can't catch the ball.

He’s not only still around but has another year to play?? Still coasting off that recruiting hype. After his “committing to me is for real and I’d never leave UM” to “lol go FSU my uncle told me to” in a minute makes me happy he’s been a massive bust. Injuries or no, 13 catches ain’t shit.

If I remember right, ESPN was higher on him as a defender and liked the idea of him as an end.

EDIT:  Yup.  This was from their scouting report on him.

This is what makes this player unique. Outside of the offensive line he could literally play every position on the field and while we believe he's either a wide receiver or safety, he shines at this level as a rush defensive end. His speed and first step explosiveness are outstanding. If he weighed more he'd be a legit candidate as an end. He's a natural playmaker that has good football instincts.

For clarity, Campbell was in the class of 2015...so this is "only" his 5th year. Mistakenly, I went back and looked at the class of 2014 (on Rivals) just to see where Campbell fit. Although it was the wrong class, I was amazed at how good the 5 stars from 2014 turned out to be...from Myles Garret and Jabril Peppers at the top to Nick Chubb as the lowest 5 star, there are so many who had great college careers and are starting out with real good NFL careers. I did go and look at the 2015 class to see if Campbell had any "bust" company, definitely not as deep as 2014.

There is a hand full of kids recruited over the last 15-20 years that we lost or missed out on that bother me still to this day! Here are some that still annoy me. Campbell should of stayed put! He would of been huge here.

George Campbell, Desaun Hand, Desean Jackson, Demarco Murray, mike Weber, Rojo, Adoree Jackson, Najee, AJ Dillon, Julio Jones just to name a few.

There are more but these kill me!
