With a 4-0 start to the season and a 2OT win over #25 Dartmouth yesterday, Michigan has earned its first Top-25 national ranking in program history.

Michigan checks in at #25 in the IWCLA Coaches Poll.

  1. Boston College
  2. Maryland
  3. North Carolina
  4. Northwestern
  5. Florida
  6. Stony Brook
  7. James Madison
  8. Syracuse
  9. Princeton
  10. Penn State
  11. Pennsylvania

Michigan will play its first game ever as a ranked team and in its first-ever top-25 matchup on Sunday when the Wolverines travel out the mountains and play #14 Colorado on the road.

Michigan will get #13 Denver just two days later.

Great job by second year head coach Hannah Nielsen. She has 11 wins already after a season and 4 games in 2019. All her predecessor could muster was 20 wins......in 4 years.

Chicks with sticks!

Any MgoBloggers with young daughters get your girls a LAX stick and start them playing early.  It’s an awesome sport for girls and fun to watch as a parent.

It’s more of a Midwest thing and lack of experienced officials.  When the girls are skilled and the officials let them play, like they do out east, it’s a thing of beauty.   It’s getting better.

Boys Lax is like Hockey.  Girls Lax should be played like basketball.  You can’t foul but it’s very physical.
