I hate Pitino as much as the next guy, but lets be honest, the guy was made an example of by the powers that be.  He was a sacrificial lamb given up to the wolves because of his soiled past.  I want the axe to fall on the other cheaters(coach k, williams, self and that itch calipari).

Many years ago, one episode of The Tonight Show had a Headlines segment where one of them was "Man Gets Probation For Violating Probation". I have come to realize in the intervening time that this is essentially what the normal NCAA modus operandi is unless it serves their purpose to come after you with more vigor.

I've always felt the same way about Pitino. I feel like he's looked at like Al Pacino in Devil's Advocate, but he's not really that horrible of a dude. Yeah, he cheats (in multiple facets of life), but it always has seemed that he has been cast as way more scummy than he is. I am not defending the man, just saying I don't think the guy is as bad of a human as opposing fanbases make him out to be

Edit: that may not have been a great response to your point, but the way we view Roy, K, Cal, and Self is way more highly than Pitino. Pitino just kind of looks like a stereotypical mob villain in a movie

rumor has it he celebrated by knocking up a waitress at a Greek restaurant after the game.

His wife claims all accusations are false, if he were to pay for an abortion, it was just an act of charity.
