Nik Stauskas traded to Houston Rockets
Two days after Nik Stauskas traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was traded by the Cavs to the Houston Rockets.

Nik a Ho Ro!!!!

That's racist!

That had to have been one of the worst thread titles in Mgo history.

The only time I watch the NBA is if there is a former Wolverine on the team.
February 6th, 2019 at 9:07 PM ^
Sauce Castillo on that team should be a good fit. I like it!
February 6th, 2019 at 11:25 PM ^
I wonder if he has a drivers license yet? He didn’t the first couple of years in the league.
February 6th, 2019 at 9:08 PM ^
he should have the green light to hoist threes, if Harden lets him.
February 6th, 2019 at 9:13 PM ^
Harden would have to give up the ball for that to happen
February 6th, 2019 at 9:18 PM ^
He averages 8 assists a night, I think he can give it up to Nik a few times a game if he gets into the rotation.
February 6th, 2019 at 10:24 PM ^
7 of them are to himself.
February 6th, 2019 at 10:59 PM ^
Won't be on the floor much to do so, but I suppose he can. He's averaging 34% on threes this year.
Houston wants guys that can spread the floor to clear space for Harden's isos.

Bringing the heat from 22 feet.

Sounds like the Rockets might go ahead and trade him off yet. Could be the third trade for Stauskas in.. well.. not a very long time frame!
February 6th, 2019 at 9:21 PM ^
Stauskas is one of my all time favorites, of course he left a year early, but glad he’s with the Rockets over Cavs
February 6th, 2019 at 10:36 PM ^
Same here. Loved watching that dude play and seeing his transition to leading the offense after Burke left was amazing. That dude really took full advantage of his time in Ann Arbor
February 6th, 2019 at 10:56 PM ^
He was a lottery pick (8th overall). He absolutely did not leave too early. Struck when the iron was hot before NBA teams had another year to see that his potential was already realized. Would have been Miles Bridges dumb to come back.

Rocket Sauce!!!

Nice spot for him. Now will the weird beard pass it to him?
February 6th, 2019 at 10:49 PM ^
I actually thought Portland was a good spot for him, the Rockets don't really need shooters, more defenders, I just googled and they're shooting 45% from the field, but their opponents shoot 47%! Well at least he'll be in the playoffs, which I think would be his first time.
February 6th, 2019 at 11:31 PM ^
Lot of ignorant James Harden takes in this post. He's actually one of the best passers in the game.

Last time you play with true teammates and for the love of the game itself is college.

High School?
February 6th, 2019 at 10:22 PM ^
Lot of good that will do Nik. If he and Harden were the only Rockets on the court, the only time Nik would touch the ball would be to inbound it to Harden.

Do you know how much longer it is until Football season?
Anyone want to talk a little single bullet theory?

He was a throw in on this trade so Cavs could get under the cap. I wouldn't be surprised if he is cut by the Rockets.
February 6th, 2019 at 11:16 PM ^
He hasn’t been able to hit the 3 in the pros
February 7th, 2019 at 11:46 AM ^
I would think its more likely the severe uptick in length and athleticism he sees in the NBA. Close outs and contests get to you a lot faster in the league.

Nik a Ho
February 7th, 2019 at 2:28 AM ^
I was happy to have him here in Portland. I hope he sticks in Houston for his sake. I think he can still play. He didn't get much run with the Blazers.
February 7th, 2019 at 9:58 AM ^
As a resident of Houston I love this trade for Nik! He is going to get an opportunity to launch plenty of threes in D'Antoni's system. I think he may have finally found a place where he can stick.
February 7th, 2019 at 1:15 PM ^
Nevermind. The Rockets are sending him to the Pacers.
February 7th, 2019 at 1:23 PM ^
Pacers waived him lol.
February 7th, 2019 at 1:22 PM ^
We still have a few hours.
Nik will be a Piston by tonight.
February 7th, 2019 at 1:24 PM ^
At least the Rockets have a go to guy now.
February 8th, 2019 at 6:25 PM ^
Aaaaanddd he gets traded to Indiana
