Michigan vs Rutger Open Thread: What’s in your glass, what’s in your pipe?

All I know is MSU and Duke are both losing as big favorites.

Cassius with 7 turnovers in less than a half. 

Illinois is playing a track meet and had created 16 (last I saw and that was at the 5:45 mark) turnovers.  More than a turnover a minute at that point.  Winston having a terrible game and a helluva time with the pressure defense drom Illinois.  Illinois has hit some 3s but I'm not sure they've been the best looks at times so I don't expect them to be able to keep hitting those as Sparty adjusts at the half (not that they haven't run some good half court sets taking advantage of subpar Sparty defense).  It's been a crazy game to watch.

Drinking a Dr. Pepper right now and plan on sipping a Macallen 18 a little bit later tonight.

I like when Michigan pushes the tempo, at least at times - seems to get Matthews going, and prevents opponents from getting into a comfortable defense.

 More fast breaks, more tempo. These guys have the vision and hands to make it happen.

Zavier Simpson has such a high basketball IQ! He seems to always make the right play. He's continuing a standard of excellent point guard play at Michigan.

I like this version of Charles Matthews a lot better.

So far, the only thing that's really gone wrong is that Rutgers made that hook shot to take a 4-3 lead, ruining Michigan's chance to lead wire-to-wire for the 11th time this year.

I love this Charles Matthews. Truly think for him, it’s seeing ball go in. That first step through on the drive layup was big. You all remember Charles from Maui last year? Wow, if we could get half of that guy I would be one happy dude.
