Remember January in the past when we'd watch these games gripping our seats, cussing, screaming, then maybe being relieved with a win?  I remember those.  I like this much better.  Much Much better...

Livers with the good hard foul and then the look... Don't come at me bro.  He was just watching to make sure he wasn't coming at him.  Smart and tough at same time.

Thanks for the running commentary tonight.  My DirecTV signal crapped out on Sat-1, which means BTN can't be seen.  And the BTN2GO app for streaming won't even let me log in.  So nothing for me...

Gotta say, the BTN streaming website sucks ass.  I click on my TV provider and it just goes back to the screen telling me to pick the provider.  Every damn time.  Fuck BTN...

So I read it was a good game to watch!

I feel your pain. I stream BTN and that always happens. So weird that tonight, I had no lag.  I didn't have to sign in multiple times.  Worked great for the first time.

Go Blue!

Edit... I watched on laptop instead of Roku. So maybe that was difference.

Zavier Simpson did score 65 points in a high school game. He came into college as a confident scorer. You don't win Mr. Basketball in Ohio by simply being a defensive stopper. It's taken a couple of years for Zavier to find an offensive rhythm, but if he stays in that rhythm he becomes the best point guard in the nation!

His quickness is an advantage at any level, but his height was not as much of a disadvantage in high school. In college, he's often the smallest player on the court. In high school, he wasn't facing an entire defense of size and length. His highlight tape is mostly drives and short jumpers, and I remember a dunk or two, as well. But you could also see his jumper was fluid, like it was tonight. It was an adjustment finding his niche on the college level.

He'll always be a better defender than scorer, but his ability to put the ball in the hoop on drives, mid-range, and from deep should not be underestimated. He's not going to be Trey Burke, but I think tonight is the beginning of his future as a viable option on offense. On a play with about 5 minutes left, Coach Beilein let him go isolation after dribbling for 20 seconds of the shot clock. He knows!
