Instead of 30 for 30, we are 30 for 31. Not bad after a 19-7 start last year and then 14 straight, 16 straight to start the year. Get to the end of January, and we could be shooting for 20 straight. Would need to beat NW on Sunday night, Wisconsin next Saturday and Indiana the following Friday night again in Bloomington to accomplish that. Pretty difficult task. Let's see if we can survive as the last undefeated team this year. Virginia has to play Va Tech and Duke coming up.

First half turnovers were bad, 2 point defense is still a concern, and Poole played his worst game since November. Still won by the KenPom margin, double digits on the road.

Weird shooting night too. We made 5 3's, 2 by Simpson and 1 by Teske. We went 18-22 from the line, 8-10 by those two and Matthews. Needed it all tonight too.

Every starter in double figures, Livers looks extremely athletic and healthy with 9 points,18/22 free throws, Teske blocking shots while also making threes, Davis still fouling at the highest rate in the B1G, Matthew jumping out of the gym for repetitive dunks, Beilein showing impeccable class before, during, and after the game, and an Underwood coat throw was induced.

How fun is this team?!

Just finished watching the game. Never in doubt. Love this team, team being the operative phrase. Posbsang for the idea that the talent on the team is excellent and the idea that the team as a whole can overcome some of the talent differential come March.
