I got a basketball Jones...oooo eee oooo
Go Blue!

If I squint that guy dancing in the sweater looked like schlissel. #bodyPopper
January 10th, 2019 at 10:00 PM ^
how do you make the first free throw look easy then damn near airball the next one off to the left? wow.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:01 PM ^
Conference road wins are like gold. On a day Michigan poached an up and coming Coach from Bama football, I'll take and appreciate this potentially double digit road win against a scrappy hungry Illini squad.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:01 PM ^
Yay, made FTs!
January 10th, 2019 at 10:01 PM ^
Great to see Z hitting those FT's - and he looked pretty comfortable, too
January 10th, 2019 at 10:01 PM ^
Love to see Livers get one more bucket or FT to make it to double figures. Already have all five starters there
January 10th, 2019 at 10:03 PM ^
Yes sir, Simpson's summer work with this father definitely improved his shot. It's looks a lot smoother, a lot more natural than it did last year. Those free throws looked real easy, real nice.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:03 PM ^
Simpson has made his last four late game free throws.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:03 PM ^
5 players in double figures and Livers with 9. That’s what I call a well balanced team.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:03 PM ^
JB coaching up the ref on proper positioning, free of charge
January 10th, 2019 at 10:04 PM ^
WTF? Flagrant foul.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:05 PM ^
For a game whose outcome was basically decided, the end of this game couldn’t possibly take longer.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:05 PM ^
True, but it's not a nail-biter, so I don't mind
January 10th, 2019 at 10:05 PM ^
holy shit this game will never end
January 10th, 2019 at 10:05 PM ^
Wow, nasty hack on Iggy in garbage time. Return push. Good call on the double T, still tacky play.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:05 PM ^
Illini coach needs to learn to lose gracefully.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:05 PM ^
Double tech? Fuck you, refs.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:06 PM ^
Spread covered.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:06 PM ^
One of the beauties of this team is that anybody can be the game MVP on any given night. It's why Raftery struggled to come up with something when asked about weaknesses.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:09 PM ^
Five guys in double figures and Livers had 9! Impressive!
January 10th, 2019 at 10:09 PM ^
He couldn't even say free throws tonight.
It would have to be if Teske gets in early foul trouble.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:14 PM ^
Maybe against big teams. Illinois is big, so yes tonight. Some opponents not as much.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:09 PM ^
...and the over. That's a big par-yay!
January 10th, 2019 at 10:09 PM ^
outside shooting is a definite weakness. UM has 3 starters where you hold your breath when they shoot a 3.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:14 PM ^
Who are those 3 shooters? I would say they have 1 in Simpson where you might hold your breath but all others are reasonable shooters. Definitely not hold your breath shooters.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:22 PM ^
Z, teske and matthews. at least livers and brooks are solid off the bench.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:15 PM ^
Agree. Definitely outside shooting. Best thing is they don’t live and die by it. When off, they can get in lane and play D to just make it a slugfest. When they make. Not many teams, if any can beat this squad.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:21 PM ^
Matthews is around 35%. He’s no longer a ‘hold your breath’ shooter. More of a ‘meh’ when he shoots.
If we had someone like Duncan off the bench this year, that’d be killer.

Kenpom strikes again!
January 10th, 2019 at 10:10 PM ^
Kenpom is god.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:07 PM ^
Hail to the Victors!
Road win is a good win.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:07 PM ^
We covered, too!!!
January 10th, 2019 at 10:07 PM ^
Another double digit win - on the road.
Great job, Blue!
January 10th, 2019 at 10:07 PM ^
And here I was starting to like that Dosunmu kid. Then he goes and does that.
Bush league.
Go Blue.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:07 PM ^
Hey a KenPom witchcraft game.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:07 PM ^
Keep it up!!!
January 10th, 2019 at 10:08 PM ^
18-22 from the line.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:08 PM ^
We made foul shots on the road. That's big.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:08 PM ^
Yea I don't think it was a bad foul on the Iliniois kid, Iggy took it way too personal..EDIT: Didn't see his arm pushing his face/head down...now I see why Iggy reacted like that
January 10th, 2019 at 10:10 PM ^
That kid is a punk and a sore loser, he was constantly running his mouth for the rest of the game.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:13 PM ^
Underwood should've taken him out of the game like Beilein did with Iggy.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:12 PM ^
Perhaps but Iggy has no "backing down" bones in his body.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:14 PM ^
I was going to say man, you're a fucking idiot. That dumb little bastard was talking shit at the line the whole time on Ziggy's freethrows. I hate when refs and annoucers treat both kids the same for discipline. Now I'm trying to be racist here either but that kid acted like a piece of garbage from the fucking slum. He even said something to Ziggy when they shook hands after the game. I'm pissed. Then the little punk even acts like he doesn't know what all the fuss is about from Ziggy? You little fucker, you have your hand on a man's face and you're pretty much pushing it backwards as Ziggy was coming down. That kid should be punished. Teach the dipshit a lesson.
January 10th, 2019 at 11:32 PM ^
Well at least you weren't trying to be racist; it just sort of happened naturally.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:09 PM ^
Impressive second half
Go Blue
January 10th, 2019 at 10:09 PM ^
Raise your hand if you enjoyed the patented Underwood coat throw
January 10th, 2019 at 10:10 PM ^
We are not a blue-collar team, we are not a white color team, we are everything.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:10 PM ^
16-0. Tied program record for best start. Only had 3 turnovers in the 2nd half. And held Illinois to only 24 points in the 2nd half before garbage time took over, and Dosunmu to 2 second-half points (after 19 in the first).
But the team can kind of be hard to watch when their shooting is like it was tonight. I think Teske’s and Simpson’s 3s were the only non-dunks/lay-ins in the 2nd half.
January 10th, 2019 at 10:12 PM ^
ALSO: Awesome free throw shooting. 18-22! Considering Illinois had 1 more field goal than Michigan, those were kind of huge.
