Let’s do it right for the new coach. He is gonna have this offense on ?

Between this and cutting Drevno loose, Harbaugh is showing he's willing to admit when things need changing. Hopefully he lets this guy run the offense for the most part. What a kick ass hire. Go Blue!

Was in a semi-important meeting earlier when this hit my notifications, damn near made a fool of myself by giving a fist pump in front of our HSE Director.

Welcome Coach!  GO BLUE!!!

Just throwing this out there: maybe we can all be extremely happy and optimistic about this hire but not immediately assume we're going 15-0 and that there might be some bumps and missteps as he and Harbaugh work things out next season. And that might be OK, and doesn't mean half the MGoBlogosphere needs to do a 180 and start calling for his head on a stick if we lose a game or two.

Pep is leaving (hopefully) some very small shoes to fill. If Coach Gattis does anything positive for the passing game and does a good job recruiting, we’re going to be much better off.

If we’re really trading shark humper and Pep for Ben and Gattis, our offensive recruiting is going to be so much better.

I love the hire, I think it will be a great fit.  Our entire offense should be excited about the opportunities coming their way 〽️〽️〽️

Saw these reports all day. Didn’t know whether it was true or not. So, so happy! We may have our guy to FINALLY open things up. Patterson, McCaffrey... DPJ, Black, Nico... wow, once again I’m hopeful!

Go Blue!

That is true, but don't forget he will have several decades of coaching experience around to support him.  So it isn't like he will be running in the dark.

To me the bigger picture is Harbaugh saw the need for change and did it.  I would bet our friends in East Lansing would not be able to make that same claim.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!?! I come here for depressing Michigan football news, not this uplifting crap. Mods please lock this thread

But for real this seems nice. Bamas offense really opened up under Gattis which is exactly what we want. Im also reading he is an energetic recruiter which is perfect
