Agree!  We need some more talent at that position, and why any elite RB wants to go to Alabama (other than playing for NC's LOL) I don't get.  Alabama clearly isn't going to give some young man keys to that position.  It is RB by committee.  A truly special back could come to Michigan next year and take over the position.

I looked at that and would love for it all to be true. But then we're talking about "deep-seated problems" on a team that was totally dominant for most of the year and then lost the national championship game.

There may be issues. I have a hard time believing any of that is new to Alabama, which has been pulling in #1 classes for years. Would I love things to melt down there? You bet, but it hasn't happened yet.

deep seated my ass...  this is nothing more than hoping for a takedown of bama...

and swinney's personality is perfect for a college coach... they have a great thing going... you could see how happy even the assistants are... look at our sideline sometime and the expressions seem different.

That dude has 9 followers! And just joined Twitter recently. I’m a little skeptical of him getting the scoop on this story before everyone else. Reminds me of that MichiganNation2 guy that someone retweeted on my timeline today, saying he had “sources” that said Matty & Washington sabotaged us and gave all our gameplans to OSU before the game. Ppl Want to seem bigger than they are on the Internet.

After reading that, what struck me is I had to catch the highlights of the game because I missed it, but at one point Herbstreit called out Buggs on a play and said it was very poor effort.  Which it was awful, I would post the video but Disney put infringement strike on it.

(sigh)...

Alabama has 5 running backs in the NFL right now. Michigan has zero. Alabama has had 2 running backs win the Heisman Trophy in the last 10 years.

I see what you're trying to do. My advice is to not do that. The scales do not tilt in our favor.

Alabama sets its RBs up for successful pro careers by platooning them with other great backs, keeping the offense powerful while keeping the mileage low, allowing the RBs to be more attractive to NFL teams and last longer once they get there.
