Clemson 38-35 if the field holds up.

Right after the Red Box Bowl(way to go Spurty, New Years Eve?) they replaced entire field with new sod.  Not sure how it holds up, but for the sake of NCAA football fans, I hope it does.

Clemson +6 seems like a very good bet to me.  If you're into that sort of thing.

I’m seriously not going to watch a minute of this game.  Not out of spite, they are fantastic teams, I just really don’t care.  That is what the Playoff has done to this huge college football fan.  I just seriously would rather watch this House rerun than the NCG because blah Saban-Dabo-Southern Speed-Dynasty-Blah-whatever.  The Rose Bowl is the only organic thing left in the college football post-season.

IMO, I'd watch just to see what the competition is doing.

Seems to be night and difference from what we are doing on offense and how these 2 teams are spreading the ball around.

Going for it on 4th and 2(?) on your own 35 in the first half?

True freshman QB throwing to true freshman WR.  #2 team in the country.

College football has changed.

We're not even playing the same sport as Clemson.

Freshman WR making plays? How is that possible? I thought frosh WRs had to be useless, then maybe you could ascend to serviceable by your 2nd or 3rd year. Good coaching and an actual offense seem to really make a difference.

And a FRESHMAN QB making plays? Shea was only in his 1st year in the system is all we hear on this board. Just wait until he's in year 2, then we'll have a QB!

Could not care less. We need to expand the college playoff and get away from the 'Best two teams' mentality. You keep that up and we won't have any variety or fun, unless you are one of the Dynasty teams.

Apologies to those who do care...

Boy...nothing like an 8:45 PM kick on a Monday night when most people have to work early tomorrow. That’s how you get the non-fans of these teams to watch! *eye roll*

Probably having this game on a Monday night, after the holiday season is over and a couple thousand miles from either campus (after fans had to pay for travel to bowl games already) isn’t the best idea.  Why this game isn’t on a Saturday night is stupid.

I read a couple articles saying how the ticket prices this year were only a fraction of what they have been in previous years. A combination of people losing interest because of issues with the selection committee and the game being about 104738296 miles away from Alabama and South Carolina are the believed culprits.
