Definitely Texas. I don't think it will happen though.

Texas has some big dudes at the skill positions

Texas marches down for the 7-0 lead.

I love Sam Ehlinger and Texas’ offense.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:05 PM ^
I think Texas is going to get turned around pretty quick (they beat their rival this year), but not quick enough to beat an established Georgia.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:14 PM ^
I always thought Michigan should have taken a chance on Tom Herman. He was an up and comer and it would have been a great scenario battling against his former mentor coach (much like Bo vs Woody). Although I can understand once Harbaugh became available it was impossible to look anywhere else. I really think long term Herman will end up being a much better College coach than Harbaugh.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:24 PM ^
Agree on all counts.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:27 PM ^
Yeah if Harbaugh stayed in the NFL, Herman would’ve been my #2.
January 1st, 2019 at 10:21 PM ^
After all, Herman was one of the shits who reportedly hung around with Zack Smith while both were on Urban's staff at osu.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:28 PM ^
We’ll see. Harbaugh has made some errors as has Herman. Harbaugh has lost 14 games in 4 years. Herman 10 in two.
Harbaugh has won at multiple levels of football. Herman has not.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:32 PM ^
This. Also Texas and Michigan were similar when Harbs and Herman took over so the comparison is good.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:49 PM ^
I fail to see how Harbaugh winning at multiple levels of football means anything as to the job he'll do here. No matter how many times it gets posted.
January 2nd, 2019 at 1:06 AM ^
Harbaugh has won at multiple levels of football, including at Michigan.
January 2nd, 2019 at 10:34 AM ^
Harbaugh has won at multiple levels of football. That is certainly one of the best indicators of how well he will do at Michigan. He has significantly improved MIchigan since he got here (remember 5-7 anyone).
Given all that, I think he can do well at Michigan, as in beating Ohio at least two out of five and winning the B1G one out of three.
However, it is unclear if he WILL do well at Michigan. He HAS to improve the team for 2019. No more fucking 20+ point blowouts. Period.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:49 PM ^
I was in favor of Herman
January 1st, 2019 at 9:52 PM ^
Herman is very good, and younger. I wonder if he would have left Michigan for Texas? Much easier recruiting down there.

Dicker?! I barely even know 'er!
January 1st, 2019 at 9:13 PM ^
Would love to see Texas take it, but I have to say that the longer I sit with our last two lousy, lousy bowl games the unhappier I feel about the preparation, time management, and lack of dynamism on offense.
Those howling for change should understand with everyone else that the test is coming soon enough. Next year is the acid test for Harbaugh and the offense.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:20 PM ^
And the same thing will be said next year. Then the year after that. “Next year is the real test”. The people who really can make a difference and change for U of M football are apparently content with where the program is at.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:30 PM ^
Michigan is as it always was. You just didn’t notice.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:51 PM ^
Harbaugh was not hired to make us "as we always were".
January 1st, 2019 at 10:04 PM ^
Don’t like it? Don’t watch. Simple resolution to your misery.
January 2nd, 2019 at 10:39 AM ^
Well, for me personally, the time may well be coming. I am becoming a casual fan of college football as in not watching any bowls this year except for Michigan's game.
So, the idea of saying, don't like it, don't watch, is not some sort of incantation. People did stop buying tickets in the RR and Hoke periods. And if Michigan gets blown out by OSU again next year, you might be surprised at how bad season ticket sales and TV ratings drop for Michigan.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:21 PM ^
And if they suck, 2020 is the test? I call BS. This year was the test and they once again failed, last two games is who they were. Tired of year, next year, next year. To me, 2018 was it.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:30 PM ^
So why watch? Stop being a fan and go read books or do something else with your time.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:53 PM ^
Who are you to tell anyone on here how to use their time just because they think we can do better as a program and you're perfectly content with it?
January 1st, 2019 at 10:02 PM ^
Crying and carrying on like Johnny Fontane from The Godfather about a sporting event is childish.
If if makes you so miserable don’t fucking watch, bro. Otherwise, stop bitching. It’s pointless. You have no ability to impact how Michigan football operates.
January 1st, 2019 at 10:48 PM ^
?????
January 2nd, 2019 at 2:23 PM ^
It's the test because
a) the last two years we leaned on the D in a way we can't next year
b) Shane should have the offense completely mastered and a ton of weapons to use
c) a tough schedule sets up favorably for wins against major opponents at home
and d) because although the hotheads, twisted knicker and under-seven crowd want blood to flow NOW, that ain't happening with ten wins in three out of five. But better must come.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:23 PM ^
Many of these games make me think, "why can't we do that?"
January 1st, 2019 at 9:19 PM ^
UGA's punter is having a bit of a meltdown.
Knelt on the first punt setting up a FG
Shanked punt setting up Texas at the 50
January 1st, 2019 at 9:23 PM ^
I'll take Texas to win outright.
Looks like Georgia doesn't really want to be there.
Plus Bevo almost killed UGA.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:28 PM ^
Strong start for Texas
uga looking weak - disinterested. Turnover now.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:35 PM ^
I bet in Russia you can make that bet after the game starts...
January 1st, 2019 at 9:46 PM ^
Texas looks so fired up and well prepared that its almost like no one ever told them that bowl games are meaningless.
January 1st, 2019 at 10:38 PM ^
Somebody definitely told Georgia. Let's not be stupid here. This is what happens when you lose a shot at a national championship on the last day of the season. Your team doesn't give a shit about the bowl game.
January 1st, 2019 at 9:25 PM ^
Texas getting a boost from McConaughey on the sidelines.

I'm ready for 2019.

Notre Dame didn't belong in.
January 1st, 2019 at 10:23 PM ^
I agree, though at the time it was hard to argue against a 12-0 Notre Dame. But in retrospect, Ohio State should have been the fourth team.
January 2nd, 2019 at 8:35 AM ^
They had a top 4 resume and that's what should matter, lots of teams would get beat up by Clemson/Alabama
