Badgers D is dominating.  Another team from the south getting introduced to B1G football - the total experience this time, outdoors in NYC ( we can claim it as part of our footprint thanks to Rutger)

Bowl season has been a series of clunkers. This is no different. Half of Miami's offense came on one play. Still, Big Ten is showing last season's bowl record was no fluke.

Easy to root for the badgers, though richt is as clean of s coach as you will find in that environment.

Well at the half its 14-3 Wiscy, with dominating stats in all categories. Still, it's early.

That said, this sort of seems like it might be turning into a "the ACC sucks" referendum.

Last night the ACC's 5th best team suffered its worst loss of the season (including games against Clemson and Georgia) to the B1G's 10th best team.

For this to be Miami's worst lost of the season, Wisconsin needs to win, and by a margin more than 33-17. However as long as Wisconsin scores two more touchdowns in the second half and wins, it will almost certainly be worse than Miami's worst ACC loss.

Would you rather go to the Tangerine Bowl or the Corporate_Insert_Name_Here wtfever toiletbowl that nobody knows what it is and the name won't be the same next year.

Most bowl games are nothing but a scheme to rent a stadium, sell a sponsorship for $$$ with 2 teams that most people don't give a shit about watching

Pinstripe bowl has a challenging track record if I recall correctly.  Lots of cold weather, too much snow, lower ranked teams so it is mostly an excuse to go to Manhatten and hang out and maybe offer two striving teams an ability to practice for three more weeks.  I might go one day but primarily because it is in NY.

Excellent game plan by Paul Chryst tonight, playing to Wisconsin's strengths on offense while minimizing what Jack Coan is being asked to do.  Defense was ready for Miami, with coverages mixed up and confusing Malik Rozier the whole first half.  If their kicker didn't have the yips, this game would have been all but over by now.  This would be a major coaching win for Wisconsin tonight, with all the injuries they've had this year.

one of the reasons is because he runs a clean program.  that's why he got kicked out of UGA, he wouldn't take those last few steps to compete in the SEC.  lo and behold, suddenly kirby whats'-his-name is killing it on the recruiting trail.  coincidence?  me thinks not.

I have to hand it to Wisconsin. They seem to do well in their bowl game more often than not. And I have no memory of them involved in pedophilia, finger fucking or wife beating.

Agreed. I have no ill will toward Wisconsin. Chryst seems to be a standup guy, although he could be a stand in on Mike and Molly. Every dam year they produce running backs that Alabama would take, and literally come out of nowhere. For all the talk of football in the south being so fast, being slobber knocked repeatedly is a great equalizer.
