Saban is 67 and Alabama is his last stop. He flopped in the NFL.

Urban has said several times in the past that he is not an NFL coach and has no interest. His strong point is recruiting and has also said he loves it - a rarity in today's CF coaching world. Why in the world can't people get that through their skulls.  Success in the NFL doesn't translate into success in CF or vice-versa. Will Urban coach again ? Possibly but it won't be in the NFL.

Jim was a monster NFL coach and his offense fits that game very well. Can he succeed at the CF level - of course, he's one of the top 10 to 15 coaches out there and I'm glad he's here as we won't find anybody better,

I like the NFL and I like college. It will never cease to amaze me how many NFL-only type guys think that all college coaches are just biding their time, dying for their shot in the 'real' football league. Literally cannot grasp that maybe Harbaugh or Saban or anyone else is happier coaching college than the NFL.

total and complete waste of time.  he's never going there.  he's not leaving, or at least, not any time soon.  his family is here. he has lots of kids and some of them are quite young.  mom and dad live down the block.  he bleeds maize and blue.  having good seasons (not perfect) but with solid momentum.  he is not leaving, period, end of story.

and he doesn't need the money.  he has enough and is at the time in his life where time and quality of life is more important than money.  harbaugh stays here.

Yeah. And u like many coaches, he had a very long successful career in the NFL already  so he should have many millions in the bank.  I'm sure a few million more would make any man pause and think...but I dont think it's going to move the needle for Harbaugh as much as, say a Brian Kelly or urbz

Exactly. The dude drives an f150 and eats at Cracker Barrel after purchasing his clothes at Walmart. Something tells me that Harbaugh is far from materialistic. I know we are all pissed about the OSU beatings we’ve taken, but the guy has returned us to respectability. OSU was rolling along way before Urban took over, while we were in a nosedive dating back to 07. Harbaugh has the plane on an upward trajectory. I wouldn’t want anyone else at the helm of our program..now or ever.
