Welcome Ren!!!  I love that you are now part of the Maize and Blue!  It's gotta be a dream come true and I celebrate with you.  That being said...I love you...but I hope I never see you on the field, unless you are some crazy diamond in the rough.  Merry Christmas young man!

I know this is about Jedd Fisch, and not this walk on, but it is interesting, and I hadn't seen it posted in the Jedd Fisch post. I'm not trying to hijack this news about the PWO QB. I hope he has a great influence on the team.

Michigan lead the BIG in points per game in 2016, and dropped to 8th the next year:

2017 is when all the complaints about settling for FGs instead of TDs started, and has continued into this season.

That's interesting. Michigan already has a PWO QB commit in the form of Andy Maddox (LINK). Sometimes you see multiple QBs commit as PWOs, but some of those guys can play multiple positions (Joe Hewlett turned into a RB/S, Peter Bush turned into a FB/LB, etc.). Both of these guys look like QBs to me.

Yes, they could play scout team. In fact, that's probably all they'll ever play. Michigan blew out a lot of teams in 2018, and I think Michael Sessa (the top walk-on QB on the roster) got one or two snaps.

But yeah, you do want guys with different abilities to play on the scout team. Hewlett was the option QB Michigan used to prepare for Air Force.

Now that is an achievement I can admire.

I wonder how Alabama, OSU, and other teams match up in this particular competition? Start digging, trolls. Send us your prize nominations. (I presume, perhaps rashly, that you do actually support some team or other against which you compare us? Do let us know which one.) Be useful for a change.
