Tangentially related to this, Providence got a nice victory tonight over Texas in Austin. The Friars are now 10-3 and look like a bubble team that hopefully can play its way solidly into the Tournament and boost Michigan's resume.

On the flip side, Northwestern had the ball win a chance for a walk-off win in regulation but missed a long three and eventually lost in OT. The Cats are now 8-4 and will need to have a big turnaround once Big Ten play resumes to have any shot at getting onto the bubble.

I don't like this 1 game a week stuff.  Think it'll go to 2 games a week here shortly.

I WANT SOME UM BASKETBALL!

Go Blue!

Well we know Virginia soils itself vs 16 or other low seeds so it looks like Michigan will have a leg up on others come march.

Somewhere in an East Lansing bar a couple of pizza delivery grads are convincing themselves that sparty close losses this year are much better than Michigan’s wins over North Carolina and Villanova
