Any chance ASU upsets Kansas? I know they’re ranked 18 but haven’t seen them play this year.

Yeah. Games in Tempe, ASU beat Kansas last year, and Kansas hasn't looked dominant in most games. Kansas will be the favorite but it wouldn't be shocking to see ASU win.

What is that ?
December 22nd, 2018 at 6:18 AM ^
Definitely a chance. ASU is developing into a solid program under renowned douche Bobby Hurley. They probably have the nation's best non Duke freshman too, Luguentz Dort. Averaging 20 PPG.

None.

Shoot. We need the edit button back.
For those wondering, Michigan is 11-0, Nevada is 11-0, Houston is 11-0, and St. John's is 11-0.

Virginia could be undefeated for the entire year and I'd have zero faith they'd escape the first weekend of the tournament.

Virginia turns every game into a rock fight.

Those were pre-CFP scrimmages.
Tua still looks gimpy.

Tangentially related to this, Providence got a nice victory tonight over Texas in Austin. The Friars are now 10-3 and look like a bubble team that hopefully can play its way solidly into the Tournament and boost Michigan's resume.
On the flip side, Northwestern had the ball win a chance for a walk-off win in regulation but missed a long three and eventually lost in OT. The Cats are now 8-4 and will need to have a big turnaround once Big Ten play resumes to have any shot at getting onto the bubble.

Doesn’t ASU have a stud freshman?
EDIT: was supposed to be a response to a question whether ASU could be Kansas
December 22nd, 2018 at 12:58 AM ^
Yeah. Quebecois named Luguentz Dort.

Wasn't he teammates with Brazdeikis? Wonder if Beilein ever poked around on him.

We will be a 1 seed this year.
December 22nd, 2018 at 7:12 AM ^
We're a 1 seed most years under Beilein. We just don't start playing like it until mid-February.
This year we started in mid-November for once.
December 22nd, 2018 at 2:33 PM ^
2013-2014 team played like a #1 seed until they went thru a February swoon in the toughest conference in the country. Come March, they all of the sudden played like they did in the non-conference.

I don't like this 1 game a week stuff. Think it'll go to 2 games a week here shortly.
I WANT SOME UM BASKETBALL!
Go Blue!
December 22nd, 2018 at 5:59 AM ^
Well we know Virginia soils itself vs 16 or other low seeds so it looks like Michigan will have a leg up on others come march.
December 22nd, 2018 at 7:14 AM ^
Yeah, you want to be the 1 seed that seeded across from their bracket.

Chopin State was founded by Frederic Chopin, they have an excellent School of Music,Theater & Dance.
December 22nd, 2018 at 10:05 AM ^
Coppin State is in Baltimore, William & Mary is in Virginia, and Sacred Heart is in Connecticut (had to look that one up).
December 22nd, 2018 at 1:41 PM ^
AND..William and Mary is a public school and has excellent academics, sometimes ranked in the UM/UCLA/Virginia 2nd tier ( behind Cal ) of public institutions. I think the academic part is impressive. Campus is beautiful too

Somewhere in an East Lansing bar a couple of pizza delivery grads are convincing themselves that sparty close losses this year are much better than Michigan’s wins over North Carolina and Villanova
