There. Now lighten the fuck up. Things will be OK*

*Unless UM football has become the college version of the Detroit Lions. Then things will never be OK again.

I graduated from Ross. Yes there are annoying people / people who know everything about trading derivatives / people who spend an hour debating over font size and color during group meetings. But it was an amazing experience where you are given the same curriculum as the MBAs. Your compensation post college will pay for it especially coming out of Ross. The curve is pretty nice too and saved my butt in a couple finance courses :).

I'm coming in at a (possibly) self-perceived disadvantage. Poli Sci for undergrad, been working in payroll and HR departments since graduating 5 years ago so in my mind (which I'm rather hyper-critical when it comes to my own accomplishments) I'm not the math or stock trading genius others are.

There are going to be smarter people in the program, but I know when to shut up to avoid looking dumb.

You’ll be fine.  I was a history undergrad and finance MBA.  Just show up and do the work and there is zero chance of failure.  Our moto: No muss, no fuss, B+.  We used to play “Gunner Bingo”.  We had squares for each gunner in the class and made a mark when they raised their hands. When you had a winning card, you had to raise your hand and use the word “Bingo” in your answer. Needless to say, my buddies were the B+ students sitting in the back and sneaking out for beers at Dominick’s. It seriously is not that hard, but you learn a lot.

I have a set of twins on the way. Three more weeks.

I also have some stories being published this week and I'm awaiting word on my novel from the board of a publishing company. So there's that. Life beyond college football.

My twins are seven and could totally kick your twins asses!

Pro tip for parents of twins:  As they get older, pretend to confuse their names/indentities often, even if you can actually tell them apart.  It's hilarious and drives them crazy.

Of course mine are different genders so your mileage may vary.
