Jayru Campbell was actually likely to play for Michigan before he started beating up classmates while being filmed. I'm thinking he would have been an upgrade to Speight and OKorn the last couple years, and I think he was one of the big mistakes/unfortunate situations in QB recruiting that left the QB cupboard absolutely bare when Harbaugh took over.

It was a little more than beating up classmates...this was the kid who body slamed the schools security guard on his neck and could've killed him. The choke slamming his ex-gf the day he bonds out of jail was a bonus amongst other violent incidents. Kid is on his 4th or 5th chance that so many others dont get without his athletic ability. I really hope this time it sticks for him.

Wow, that's some serious hate, right there. I'm glad former Wolverines Jourdan Lewis and Delano Hill, who reached out to the troubled teen, didn't share your perspective. Jayru Campbell made some serious mistakes as a 16/17 year old kid, and by all appearances he has turned his life around in the past 4 years.

Next, I didn't know that there was a "pro MSU side of the state". When did Detroit and Cass Tech become "pro MSU"? Anyway, if you're interested in having an informed opinion, here you go.

Lol and yet you are still a fucking moron.

When I was at Ferris very few msu fans in that area.. and ironically all my dumbass friends that went to ferris that were obsessed with msu were all from the Detroit area..

You don't know shit about who roots for who in the state so stop talking

You must not know this side of the state if you think West MI is the “pro msu” side of the state. Almost all my friends from the east side of the state are msu fans. Also, Lloyd Carr is a friend of Tony Annesse. When he was at GRCC I was taking Ferris classes there and Lloyd visited practice several times.

Your a fucking dumbass.. pro msu side of the state?

I went to ferris and lived on the west side my entire life and it's pretty much 50/50 msu and mich fans.

Cool to see Ferris with a chance to potentially win a title in basketball and football in a year's time.

Back in my day (80s), seemed like anyone who went to another Michigan college would be like, "Oh, you go to Michigan? I am disgusted by your arrogance, person I just met."

And yes, I did visit Ferris a couple of times. The people who had no affiliation were always pro-Michigan, because winning.

I was at Ferris watching the ‘89 national title game and when Rumeal hit the free throws you could year the entire dorm explode with yelling and cheering.

So fuck off about “the MSU side of the state.” What does that even mean except you need to make tough-talking troll-posts so you can read them back while you jerk off.

It funny how a kid makes a mistake and any D-1 college that takes him get shit on but if he ends up at a D-2 school its ok, no one seems care a D-2 school took a chance on him

That game was bonkers, seemed like an Ohio State-Alabama matchup except at the D2 level. The team from the south just a bit more athletic. Proud of the way the Bulldogs fought until the end (thank you refs and some boneheaded Valdosta State clock management, too). FSU now holding a D2 basketball championship and a football runner-up. Not too shabby. (Alum here, obviously.)

The wife and I were students during the hockey run. I played for the club team. The hockey run was simply amazing. I only root against M versus my Bulldogs. It was a bit of a heartbreak today but I am a proud alum. I can’t complain with a runner up in football and a basketball ship.

Go Dawgs and I’m glad to see other dawgs here!
