SEC turmoil
The top high school recruit from the state of Alabama committed to a school outside his home state, which I have to imagine is not pleasing to Bama fans.
Not especially noteworthy for us, but anything that takes the Ride down a notch and creates more parity, I'm all for...

The Tide... Not the Ride. I hate auto correct
December 15th, 2018 at 12:41 PM ^
Toll Ride!

Tiders on the Shroom
December 15th, 2018 at 1:57 PM ^
A toll ride? Appropriate, because somebody is definitely paying for these players to ride.
December 15th, 2018 at 2:07 PM ^
You gotta pay the troll toll...
December 15th, 2018 at 2:08 PM ^
Toll Road!
December 15th, 2018 at 1:11 PM ^
Aw, i had hoped it was some clever bagmen-related nickname i wasn’t getting.
December 15th, 2018 at 4:58 PM ^
But ever so apt, considering the bagmen.
The Ride...just take credit for it.
December 15th, 2018 at 12:32 PM ^
Bama will be fine
December 15th, 2018 at 2:13 PM ^
...but not fined as long as Saint Nick is there.
December 15th, 2018 at 12:34 PM ^
Yeah Bama is really hurting to get recruits. Hope they can field a team next year. Not a great thread title.
December 15th, 2018 at 12:35 PM ^
Noted
December 15th, 2018 at 2:11 PM ^
Just to pile on... An SEC school 'losing' a recruit to another SEC school doesn't put said conference in turmoil. But hey, I like taking shots at Bama as much as the next guy
December 15th, 2018 at 2:44 PM ^
Ole Miss got into trouble when they started stealing recruits from Bama. Cheating is okay down there as long as it's not too blatant.
December 15th, 2018 at 5:19 PM ^
Define — too blatant
December 15th, 2018 at 12:43 PM ^
Should be OT
December 15th, 2018 at 12:46 PM ^
This is a very bad thread title. Bama has a roster full of top players. Not sure Bama losing 1 top player would put a whole conference in turmoil. Lol
December 15th, 2018 at 12:45 PM ^
He went to Georgia, a team that is recruiting about as well as Bama these days. That's not exactly creating more parity.
December 15th, 2018 at 12:45 PM ^
Ummmmm.....wouldn't exactly call that turmoil.
December 15th, 2018 at 12:50 PM ^
Way more interesting is Tennessee reeling in the third ranked and likely the top OT for the class. And both of them are from Georgia.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:59 PM ^
We also have the best shot at the top OT in GA next year in Chris' brother Myles Hinton. Still annoying we are losing so many of the top instate prospects since the signing of the stars.
December 15th, 2018 at 12:50 PM ^
Here's my point, guys...
How do we react when the top players in Michigan commit outside the state? Not good generally. And for a fan base like Bama, have to imagine it's worse.
Yes, Bama will be fine. No, this won't put them in dire straits. It's one data point.
"Turmoil" l was tongue in cheek
December 15th, 2018 at 12:51 PM ^
They'll probably be like S-E-C! S-E-C! .. oh wait
December 15th, 2018 at 1:11 PM ^
Not if we got 5, 5 stars from other states. Hell we're missing on the the top 4 from our state this year.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:27 PM ^
Actually, it's sort of refreshing to hear about players from the state of Michigan getting multiple Division I offers in general, pretty much regardless of where they are. It's definitely a break from hearing about the same 7-8 states.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:39 PM ^
I guess I'm missing your point. 2 are going to MSU and 1 is going to Wisconsin
December 15th, 2018 at 12:51 PM ^
This thread title is pure hyperbole. And so is the article. One recruit picking another SEC school over Alabama = SEC turmoil? I don't think so.
December 15th, 2018 at 12:54 PM ^
If bama lands on the 5 stars they are the favorites to land they will finish with the highest rated class in the composite ever. Think they'll be ok.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:00 PM ^
Oh no! Now they'll only have 19 5 stars on the roster instead of 20. They're screwed.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:03 PM ^
I don’t think turmoil means what you think it means.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:04 PM ^
I feel real bad for them.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:07 PM ^
Poor guys. Now they might actually lose a game.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:15 PM ^
My thought and prayers are with the SEC and ESPN in this time of turmoil. Does anyone have a link to the gofundme?
December 15th, 2018 at 1:16 PM ^
Dumb thread
December 15th, 2018 at 1:18 PM ^
Georgia getting the top ranked athlete from Alabama = SEC Turmoil? Hm....
December 15th, 2018 at 1:24 PM ^
Not only that but a northern school might flip their second-best recruit
December 15th, 2018 at 2:21 PM ^
Do you know something we don’t know, or are you just toying with our emotions?
December 15th, 2018 at 2:34 PM ^
"Not only that but a northern school might flip their second-best recruit"
Only if a snowball's chance in Hell = "might"
December 15th, 2018 at 1:25 PM ^
Wouldn't call this turmoil. Now if their coaches get in front of a mic and start ratting each other out about bagmen, then we have SEC turmoil.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:26 PM ^
They have cars in Georgia too. Or maybe the girls they sent to his room were more his type. Idk
I clicked on this to see some fucking turmoil and was completely let down. Wtf
December 15th, 2018 at 1:29 PM ^
This post is all fun and games until Alabama moves down their recruiting board and makes a full court press on their #2 prospect at the position, Trevor Keegan.
December 15th, 2018 at 1:48 PM ^
People who don't know how to do sarcasm or satire effectively should just stay away from it.
Nuke this OP.
December 15th, 2018 at 2:06 PM ^
If only Georgia could have finished the job...
Would like to see Oklahoma win but they don’t play an ounce of defense
December 15th, 2018 at 2:07 PM ^
Great thread title.
December 15th, 2018 at 2:24 PM ^
I guess Alabama bagmen got out “bagmaned” by Georgia.
December 15th, 2018 at 2:24 PM ^
I'm so sorry Nick, you didn't get your way for once...
December 15th, 2018 at 2:29 PM ^
I guess they’ll have to settle for getting the top recruit in almost every other state, then.
Something tells me they’ll be just fine.
