They probably would take those three and from what I've read Bama thinks they're getting Battle regardless of what Dax does.
Still can't hurt in the Dax reflip (backflip?) endeavor. Also good for OSU to not have nice things.

And despite the fact that literally only one or two out of hundreds of decomitts have ever come back we'll spend between now and signing day trying to convince ourselves he'll return to the fold.
He's not. He's gone-move on people. Be thankful he didnt go to a school we have on our schedule and focus on what we do have.

The circumstances here do feel different (even though I agree that he probably will stick with Bama).
I can't remember a flip that blindsided literally everyone involved, including the school he flipped too. It sounds like a decision that probably wasn't thought through and based in part on emotional false information (i.e. Harbaugh leaving for the NFL).

Thats true im neither. But i do understand probibility and the odds of things happening in the future based on past events. Like i said-one or two have come back and you just listed the most prominent one.

I doubt he flips back as well, but the suddenness of it all and the fact that there has been a consistent undercurrent of "nobody quite knows where he is" makes me think that it could change a couple more times before NSD. That doesn't mean he's going to UM, but I could see him, say, go to Oklahoma or some other school we've not heard of.
People read way too much in the Solomon situation as a likely outcome here. But this also feels a bit different than your usual decommitment situation.

Sam said on the Recruiting Roundup this morning that Bama intends to take Battle and Hill. Battle is not a fallback plan for them.

I think the question was whether they would take Battle if they already had Hill. Seems obvious for us, but Bama can be extra choosy and Battle is "only" ranked #77 and they both play the same position.

I have to say I agree with this. I think a lot of what you are hearing about is just our staff scrambling in a "say it ain't so" last gasp to salvage it. I don't want to be negative about it but it is quite likely that they are going to be winning another national championship in the 3 weeks so I am not sure if anything Harbaugh can say is going to say can really speak that loudly.
