The calendar has been correct the last couple years on this so I tend to trust it as far as the day goes.

My wife's birthday is the 14th so it's always right around the same day as the spring game.
One year when we still lived in Ann Arbor she went to get manicures with her sister for her bday so I went and tailgated by myself in the rain, and loved it.
The point of my stupid story? I miss having hope for the upcoming season...

A lot of *ifs* to rely on. OSU isn't going to drop off. Talent is there...coaching staff is there and Urban will still be around the program. Don't get your hopes up for a drop off. Pretty sad state of affairs that we're relying on a rival to drop off instead of us being where we need to be.

There will actually be a lot of question marks on next year’s Ohio squad, so a drop off is not guaranteed, but there is a possibility.

An experienced OLine, ton of returning talent on offense, and experience at key spots on D (with guys set to step in the other spots) are all encouraging. There is a lot to like about next year’s squad.

Lacrosse game vs Penn State is scheduled for that day too. But I'm guessing they are no longer going to play in the Big House before the spring game anymore because they have their own stadium now. But I liked that tradition, would be cool if they kept it going.
