Graham Couch Leaves Duke, Kansas, and Tennessee out of his official AP Top 25 poll
Graham Couch, idiot savant. Emphasis on idiot.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:12 PM ^
Graham "Hold this L" Couch
December 11th, 2018 at 5:41 AM ^
Is it "Graham Couch" or "Cam Grouch"?
December 10th, 2018 at 9:13 PM ^
Voting isn’t for everyone. This fuckstick needs his credentials stripped. He is 100% fanboy. He is as much a journalist as he is a submarine captain.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:14 PM ^
His idiocy is boundless
December 10th, 2018 at 9:14 PM ^
Delete the thread. This is exactly what he wanted. He already was entertained enough on Twitter
December 10th, 2018 at 9:17 PM ^
he wants people to call him an idiot?
well, okay then.
Hey, Graham. You're an idiot!
I think I'm more surprised Mr C has Michigan as high as he does.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:31 PM ^
No but people shouldn’t post the link to give him more clicks.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:55 PM ^
It's designed to help msu. If we're ranked high and win, it's a good loss for them. If we lose, it boosts msu.
December 11th, 2018 at 9:06 AM ^
That doesn't explain his omission of Kansas though.
December 11th, 2018 at 9:25 AM ^
I'm not talking about omitting Kansas, but rather ranking Michigan at 2
December 10th, 2018 at 9:23 PM ^
This is called trying to be the smartest person in the room.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:26 PM ^
EYB - yes, and a very sparty try at that
December 10th, 2018 at 9:56 PM ^
EYB is short for the user evenyoubrutus
is that what your ? asks?
December 10th, 2018 at 10:01 PM ^
I think I may have misinterpreted the response. I thought EYB was saying my comment was an attempt to be the smartest person in the room, where Indy Pete said it was a sparty try, but it could have been about Couch.
Couldn't quite tell because the other two responses to my comment were negative.
December 10th, 2018 at 10:04 PM ^
I was referring to Couch, not you.
December 10th, 2018 at 10:05 PM ^
Good. Clearly it cannot be referring to me after this clarification
December 10th, 2018 at 10:15 PM ^
For sure, I was referring to couch ? as well. It was an ole sparty try to be the smartest man in the room
December 11th, 2018 at 3:38 AM ^
In East Lansing the smartest man in the room is the one who didnt shit his pants (yet).
December 11th, 2018 at 5:37 AM ^
Have you ever sharted at work? It's just not a good place to be in.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:28 PM ^
Your implication is that Graham Couch is reading the message boards on mgoblog and would notice or care if this post was deleted. You might be as delusional as he is.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:34 PM ^
Spreading word of it and linking it brings more attention to it.
Most of Graham's tweets and articles don't get much traction. Obviously this one did because of things like this.
People posting about how ridiculous it is and bringing him more attention and clicks
December 10th, 2018 at 9:53 PM ^
Have you ever paid attention to his writings? He is exactly the kind of sparty slappy that would troll here.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:58 PM ^
Hey, another hillbilly!
December 10th, 2018 at 10:02 PM ^
The hillbillies are coming out in droves!
December 11th, 2018 at 7:20 AM ^
I always wondered how many a "drove" was. Now I know. Since two hillbillies equal "coming out in droves" (plural) a "drove" must be one hillbilly, as in "a hillbilly is coming out in drove."
Thanks.
December 11th, 2018 at 10:41 AM ^
drove2
/drōv/
noun
plural noun: droves
-
1.
a herd or flock of animals being driven in a body.
"a drove of cattle"
synonyms:herd, flock, pack"a drove of cattle"
-
2.
a broad chisel for use by stonemasons.
I think it is more a bunch of broad stonemason chisels instead.
December 10th, 2018 at 10:02 PM ^
Yes sir.
December 10th, 2018 at 10:00 PM ^
"Delete the thread."
No.
But nobody should click on the link, either. Leave the Lansing State Freaking Journal to languish in the obscurity to which it is accustomed, and destined.
December 10th, 2018 at 10:02 PM ^
Better take and is what I should have said.
December 10th, 2018 at 10:02 PM ^
Better take and is what I should have said.
December 11th, 2018 at 12:28 AM ^
You're absolutely, 100% correct that this is what he wanted. Shares and clicks. That's all this was. I'm sure Duke fans are sharing and clicking. Tennessee fans. Kansas fans.
This was for shock value to get clicks, pure and simple.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:15 PM ^
Kansas beats MSU on a neutral court, has lost two less games than MSU=MSU 6 Kansas NR. Sparty’s gonna spart
December 10th, 2018 at 9:15 PM ^
Double post to say again Graham Couch is a dumbass
December 10th, 2018 at 9:32 PM ^
It's worth saying twice.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:17 PM ^
If I were a voter my own personal filter would be, “does not have a track record or reputation for violating NCAA rules.” Admittedly, it would be highly subjective, but it would eliminate 50% of the usual top 25 and be a much more fascinating and diverse group.
December 11th, 2018 at 9:58 AM ^
You'd be the favorite voter of Marist and Northern Kentucky fans. I think.
December 11th, 2018 at 11:55 AM ^
i think marist got seriously slapped by the ncaa a few years back, so...
December 10th, 2018 at 9:17 PM ^
He left out schools that haven't played a true road game yet this year.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:23 PM ^
Yes, we can read the linked article. This is not RCMB - no need to provide the cliff notes. Couch has created a completely subjective criterion that is unprofessional and attention-seeking. It would be unsurprising for him to lose the privilege of voting in the AP poll.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:33 PM ^
The point of a summary is not to give this ass clown the clicks.
December 10th, 2018 at 10:02 PM ^
If he is a voter he can do what he wants. I don't know much or care about the guy, I don't understand the hate for going out in a limb and suggesting teams should play difficult road games. I tend to agree even if the guy is an otherwise a sparty homer. He is evaluating teams and believes a team isn't great unless they prove it on the road. I don't necessarily agree, but think it is an interesting proposition.
December 11th, 2018 at 1:27 AM ^
I think your mom is an interesting proposition. Doesn't make it any less ugly though
December 11th, 2018 at 11:59 AM ^
well, fine, but in that case you can't have preseason ratings. you know, at all.
December 11th, 2018 at 1:53 PM ^
It’s one thing to ding them for not winning a road game it’s entirely different to not even consider them.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:26 PM ^
Yes he did. And he's still a moron. I agree with the previous poster that thinks he should get stripped for this. Petty, immature, bush league bullshit.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:21 PM ^
Not a coincidence that Sparty has played 2 true road games this year. His article and dumb gimmick wouldn't happen if they didn't
Unbiased sports journalism is dying. ESPN and Pete Finebaum with the SEC. This clown.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:22 PM ^
Is there a sports writer out there with any credibility? His ballot should be revoked.
December 10th, 2018 at 9:25 PM ^
Overall it’s a bad look and idiocy....but who has Kentucky beat??
December 10th, 2018 at 9:37 PM ^
They're almost out of the top-25 regardless.
