ESPN's Ian Fitzsimmons: "Harbaugh is more invested in Michigan than ever"

Submitted by Diagonal Blue on December 7th, 2018 at 2:03 PM

From his radio show on ESPN via Will Cain, on rumors Harbaugh would be interested in the Packers or other NFL jobs:

"I don't know if Jim Harbaugh is ready to leave his alma mater right now, a place that is very special to him, to jump back into the National Football League when he has an 0-fer next to his name against the team down south, and that would be Ohio State. And not having gotten to the college football playoff. So I would disagree, I think Jim Harbaugh is probably in my opinion having just seen him and talking to coaches on his staff a few weeks ago having called Ohio State-Michigan, he's more invested now in Michigan football than maybe he ever has been. Because that 0-fer stings, and I think that drives him more than ANYTHING."

Wow, Chris Carter was wrong?!

We can all see how much our coach cares (look at his emotion after crushing Sparty in EL this year).  Imagine the joy when he breaks through against OSU.  Methinks next year, but I am also very much glass is half full when it comes to UM football under Coach Harbaugh.

People I interact with in the Nashville area sing the "Harbaugh to the NFL" tune to me all the time. I just can't buy it. I instruct them to listen to the Attack Each Day podcast instead of worrying about something that isn't imminent.

They be obsessed with JJH.  Barrret Sallee, Pete finebaun, sec country, etc just obsess over him about how he is overrated and how he is a good fit for every nfl job in the same breath (exactly what you just said). He somehow lives in their heads. Just wait until he wins a national championship- their heads will explode!

I knew there was a reason I always like Ian Fitzsimmons.  On the other hand, Will Cain is a straight up buffoon and has no business being on the airways.  If you are a loyal listener of his please tell me why you like him.  I find him to be one of the most unknowledgeable people on the air.
