Glad to see this as the first response to the OP, I don't feel so bad now. No clue who this guy is.

me too - i honestly thought they'd mis-identified someone else.

Good for him, and hopefully good for us. If the analysts were responsible in any way for suggesting that our shit game plan against OSU was a good idea, then some new blood will be nice.

Am I the only one sick of these knee jerk comments? Time to stop overreacting to one bad game.
Prince was the OL coach for the Lions. The most likely role he played as an analyst was helping Warinner, so maybe he is a loss.

He's definitely not a loss. He sucked as a OL coach and players didn't like him. His run scheme design sucked and made no sense in relation to the overall passing scheme. I was glad to see him gone from the Lions. He's the biggest reason why Larry Warford won't come back to the Lions when he was the FA.

All true. Much of this had been reported in the local papers. I had a chance to ask one of the beat reporters this summer about Prince. Caldwell was well liked & respected in the locker room. He treated players like men and demanded his assistants do the same. Everyone on the OL couldn't understand his blind spot for Prince. He was detested by every player under him.
Some may remember the unceremonious dumping of OC Joe Lombardi. His scheme did not work and players were not sorry to see him go. But he was not hated.
This will not go well for Howard.

He ran KSU program down into the ground and was fired from it. Bill Snyder had to come back from retirement and turn the program around once again. KSU fans were happy to see him gone as well

Prince has played a key role on two of three football teams I root for and both have been disasters. I had no idea he was even employed at U-M and I'm glad I didn't.

Ditto. I don't know who he is.

Would that be considered a promotion?
Or did dude draw the short straw?

Howard has a sweet marching band though.

Have they considered replacing him with Greg Mattison, while rehiring Brady Hoke for Defensive Line?

I dream of a day where K State visits the Big House, and we play that video on the JumboTron (in place of playing their fight song), to honor our visitors from Manhattan. #PowerTowel

Goodnight, sweet prince.

I don't see how he was a disaster at Kansas State. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't good, but K State had slipped in Snyder's last couple of years (4-7 and 5-6) before Prince took over. Prince just wasn't able to pull them out of that (with one marginal bowl team his first year at 7-6 and two 5-7 seasons).
There was some kind of weird, sleazy issue with his buyout, but that didn't come out until well after he was fired.
