We got a game tonight

Just got my tickets for the Northwestern Michigan game tonight. Who else is going?

Do we really?  Based on the thread a few posts down it appears ESPN only gives the boys a 47% chance of winning so I'm not entirely convinced we'll make the trip and show up.

I mean with only a 47% chance of winning (according to the world wide leader) it hardly appears we have a shot.

Why bother?

That's bullshit for hometown fans.  I'm ok with 6PM in CA for me, but starting the game at 9 is ridiculous.

I'm with my MGO Brethren on this one.  Don't like  Noon EST football games, cuz that's 9AM for me, but I'm with you here.

For me personally, I don't care that the game is late.  However, my two sons, ages 7 and 11, both love watching the team, and they can't stay up that late on a school night.  Sure, we can DVR the games and watch part over breakfast, but watching the next day just isn't the same (since I already know the score and they know that I know the score).  Late games like this during the week make it hard for the younger viewers - i.e. future fans - to watch the games.

Tickets were $125 in the nosebleeds* on Sunday night (appears they've dropped to about $95) but I got lucky and my buddy at Kellogg had somebody selling them for $10.  Not mad about it.

*Not sure if any seat there qualifies as the nosebleeds, but farther from the court than most of the rest of the seats

Dererk Pardon absolutely killed IU on Saturday with 24 points and 10 rebounds. We need to have an answer for him and I think we will.

Actually flying into Chicago for work tonight but tickets are $80 each and I didn't have anyone to go with so will be watching in a bar

I live pretty far away. I’m looking for all the Chicago MGoPeeps to do some serious cheering though. Gonna take the wind out of the sails of the Windy City!

NU has been playing real gritty basketball this year.  I expect it’ll be a tough environment, but have 100% faith that JB will have his kids ready for the moment.

Would be nice to continue the momentum with a big win on the road. We don’t have a ranked opponent again until 1/19 (Wisconsin).
