St. Edwards & Quintel Kent win Ohio Div. 1 title
Michigan commit WR Quintel Kent played a big role (8 catches fro 120 yds) in the victory. Some video included in the article. John Kolesar's son Caden is a DB on the team.

I think Kent is going to be a player. Plenty of speed to play on the outside. Now please turn into DJ Moore to make me look smart.
Between Kent, Rumler (Hoban) and Carpenter (Moeller) Michigan is getting closer with some big-time Ohio programs. Hopefully that pays dividends down the road.

Does anyone know --- is this the first time ever that the OHSAA Division 1 Champion has a loss on its resume to a Michigan team (Cass Tech in this case)? I figure it has to be.

Last week Colerain knocked my nephew's school, Pickerington Central, out of the play-off. So Kent continues the "Revenge Tour" for our family. I wonder if little Kolesar ends up being a walk-on at Michigan.
This 2019 class is looking to be way beyond "very good". There is a lot to like about the OL and DL recruits already verballed...and if they add a couple of the elite kids still in waiting...this class will be through the roof. And go ahead and get that Williams RB out of Miami!!!

We’ll never compete with Ohio State if we continue to recruit losers like him!

Congrats to Kent! Can’t wait until he’s winning championships with us. Go Blue!
