You'll probably hate me for this.....

NW beats OSU

Texas beats OU

Memphis beats UCF (UCF lost Milton)

Bama beats Georgia

Never say never.

Go Blue!

We used to give it to all prospective applicants and wouldn't hire anyone south of 25.  20 is your basic "this guy can solve simple problems and probably handle heavy machinery" type hence the low threshold.

FYI Damian Woody who went on TV today to tell Baker Mayfield he needed to "grow up" scored a 13 which is "I'm as dumb as a bag of fucking hammers".

Nope...B1G East Champion and B1G Champion would salve any loss...who cares if that loss keeps you out of the playoff?

I buy these damn B1G Championship Game tickets every damn year...I’ve seen more OSU games than UM games in person in my lifetime as a result...I’ve sold the tickets this year and last as a result.  I’m 38 and just want to see UM in Indy once before I die, and at this point I’m not sure it’s going to happen.

I don't hate you, but you need to see a doctor ASAP.

There is no combination of losses that would put us in the championship rounds.

WE GOT CURB STOMPED ON A NATIONAL STAGE

COMPLETE EMBARRASSMENT

I'm still a die-hard fan, and I still think this team is damn good, but that's just the bottom line. Full stop.

I sure as hell don’t want Bama in the playoff.

Give me shit ass Utah or Washington in the Rose Bowl so we can go 11-2 and finish top ten and win the most prestigious non-playoff game please. Thank youuuu.

Everyone does apparently hate you for this, but it would definitely interesting to see what the committee would do if all of this were to happen. And there actually is a somewhat similar precedent if they were to go with Michigan.. I believe it was the 2003 season when Kansas St blew out Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game, and Oklahoma still went on to play for the National Championship, losing to LSU.

You're right, and I'm pretty sure the committee would indeed ignore that precedent. I just wanted to provide a little historical context. Also, the computers definitely got it wrong because it should've been LSU versus that USC team that destroyed Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

Yeah, thread premise is silly since who cares about the honor of being Alabama's sacrificial lamb? But just as a historical footnote, Nebraska in 2001 also got into the BCS championship after Colorado ran them off the field in the final regular season. The score was pretty similar to Saturday's result and Colorado won the division and went on to beat Texas in the Big 12 CG which actually helped push Nebraska to the Rose Bowl BCS game. Think there were at least 5 teams that in succession lost their final game when they had a chance to go to the championship game had they won (TN, FL, NE, TX and OK). Oregon should have gotten in over Nebraska but oh well. I guess Nebraska did just have one loss so obvious difference there but that was top 2 instead of top 4.
