I'm setting the O/U at 4.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:37 PM ^
I’d say 3 but with them shiitting the bed like this today I could easily see 5.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:37 PM ^
I think Gary, Bush, and Patterson will all go. Maybe one of Long and Hill.
I think all of the WRs come back. I expect all will play in bowl game.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:39 PM ^
Patterson might not get drafted.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:41 PM ^
I think that it’s real possible that he may not receive a very good grade.
This just always felt like a 1 and done move to me. Would love to be wrong. QB depth is a necessity next season.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:43 PM ^
Speaking of which
Anyone know if Peters was hurt today? Saw him in for the one drive but had to do some housework and alcohol and noticed that Milton was in shortly thereafter.
November 24th, 2018 at 9:18 PM ^
No, I think that was a different kind of one and done...
November 25th, 2018 at 5:59 AM ^
My thought was that Milton will have a good shot at being the QB in this game in two years and it was a good idea to get him out on that field for a couple series to get a bit acclimated to the surroundings/sight lines, etc.
November 25th, 2018 at 6:07 AM ^
I did not understand that move. Peters had just thrown a TD pass. Milton comes throws a pick. Weak decision making.
November 25th, 2018 at 7:35 AM ^
Seemed odd to me too. Sort of like telling Peters to transfer. Peters has thrown only a couple passes all year. But if Milton is the future, maybe it is just to get him some time on the big stage.
November 25th, 2018 at 1:09 AM ^
Even if Shea does come back he will face fierce competition with Dylan. Dylan may win out? This may have been Shea's worse game as our QB. We'll see how well he plays in our bowl game.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:42 PM ^
I don’t think his (Shea) stock is high enough to go early. He needs more time but he also needs to get Harbaugh to agree to leave the Stone Age on offense. I hope they negotiate.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:44 PM ^
Shea has to be disappointed that this is the offense that he came to play in.
November 24th, 2018 at 11:44 PM ^
Right, unlike what he left at Mississippi. What a bummer for him.
November 25th, 2018 at 6:13 AM ^
You mean an offense that duplicates the style of offense he aspires to lead in the NFL? Yeah, he's probably really second-guessing that decision.
November 25th, 2018 at 10:23 AM ^
Huh? This offense looks nothing like what the Saints, Rams, Bears and Chiefs run. Look I know you want to be Mr. Positive, but don’t be delusional. This offense is something out of the 90’s. We have to put more innovation into it for things to become better.
November 25th, 2018 at 12:16 AM ^
Great. Not good enough to go pro, but good enough for Michigan. That's the guy I want!
November 24th, 2018 at 10:56 PM ^
Patterson would certainly get drafted. It would be at 100+ but he would get drafted. Teams are going to want to see more arm strength out of him before they burn a high pick on him.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:42 PM ^
Are any of our WRs (apart from Perry) even draft eligible?
Also I think Shea returns and it would be more likely both CBs leave. But after today, who knows.
November 24th, 2018 at 11:58 PM ^
No, they're only 2nd year players. DPJ, Nico and Black have to come back. No choice.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:49 PM ^
I feel like Patterson needs to ball out in the bowl game if he’s going to get drafted in the first 4 rounds. I say he comes back.
November 24th, 2018 at 9:21 PM ^
All the receivers have no choice but to come back. They’re not eligible for the draft.
November 24th, 2018 at 9:35 PM ^
Patterson's pre-The Game stats may have been gaudy but he doesn't have the arm strength to make NFL throws.
November 25th, 2018 at 6:01 AM ^
Which wide receivers? DPJ, Collins and Black are not yet eligible.
If you are here to be a jack ass at least know what you are writing of.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:40 PM ^
Hopefully Harbaugh can bully a team or we lose
November 24th, 2018 at 8:41 PM ^
I don't see Patterson going now. Maybe the one silver lining of this craptastic day.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:41 PM ^
Might we be better off without him?
November 24th, 2018 at 8:46 PM ^
No, Patterson is not the problem...yet. Sure, he has a weak arm but he's still lethal at RPO and makes good decisions in the passing game. He's fine.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:49 PM ^
I think McCaffery will be a better version of Shea Patterson when it’s all over.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:50 PM ^
Highly agree.
November 24th, 2018 at 10:41 PM ^
Patterson has a stronger arm than McCaffery
November 25th, 2018 at 1:25 AM ^
McCaffrey has a way better touch than Shea. Arm strength is overrated. Ask Tom Brady.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:49 PM ^
he was a bit off today, but he was under pressure most of the day; much like against ND. any QB looks bad under pressure. it would have been nice to see haskins under some pressure.
November 24th, 2018 at 10:49 PM ^
would have been REAL nice to see Haskins pressured today.
Shea has been a cool calm and collected leader, and he took some hits btw. We have benefited from his talent and judgment, no QB alive can have his best game under the pressure he was facing. It borders on insanity to dismiss what he has done this year.
November 25th, 2018 at 6:29 AM ^
I agree entirely. Shea had little time. Our only hope was to pressure Haskins and it did not happen. If, big if, the sack stats were reversed . . .
November 24th, 2018 at 8:59 PM ^
I want to see McCaffrey. I think he’s a stud. Really impressed me this year in short Work. Hopefully he bounces back.
November 24th, 2018 at 9:37 PM ^
This ^^^
All day long!
McCaffrey much, much better than Shea.
November 24th, 2018 at 9:37 PM ^
Patterson getting the Brandon Peters Memorial treatment/burial, I see.
November 24th, 2018 at 11:17 PM ^
Nope, just think there's a chance McCaffery could possibly be better.
November 24th, 2018 at 11:29 PM ^
You're fucking kidding. Did you watch any Michigan football this year? You're stupid.
November 25th, 2018 at 6:05 AM ^
We scored way more than enough points to win today and Shea was under pressure for much of the game. He can come back and start next year and I will be thrilled. He is a very good QB. Haskins looked outstanding because he sat back there throwing darts. He could have been wearing flags and we still wouldn't have come close to getting a sack. This game was about pass rush and the lack of. That is why we lost the way we did.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:41 PM ^
Who cares?
Pointless thread is pointless.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:49 PM ^
Virtually all threads following a shit show like today could be deemed pointless, but the trend it highlights will likely grow as the playoff format continues to push all the other bowl games towards insignificance. The result being only players with something left to prove to pro scouts will participate. So the real question is why should they play and if a lot of them don’t why should we care?
November 24th, 2018 at 9:42 PM ^
November 24th, 2018 at 8:45 PM ^
The good news, ND is losing.
The bad news, that could mean OSU gets to the playoffs.
The good news, that could mean we get the Rose Bowl.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:46 PM ^
I don't want any part of the Rose Bowl. Give me a Revenge Tour vs. S. Carolina.
November 24th, 2018 at 8:50 PM ^
I would gladly take a rose bowl, specifically against Washington. Yes this game sucked and the season is mostly a failure, but if we're going to the rose bowl as a consolation prize and win it...All is not lost
November 25th, 2018 at 9:36 AM ^
The Rose Bowl is the best bowl by a mile. It's the only game I'm interested in attending. Dallas-Atlanta no thank you.
November 24th, 2018 at 9:21 PM ^
Yayyy the rose bowl which means exactly fucking nothing anymore. Dumb as shit.
