Can’t sleep. So much anticipation and anxiety.

Anyone else having the same issue?

In Cleveland suburbs for Thanksgiving. Woke up at 3:30. Can't fall back asleep. Have read all of the coverage I can find. Checking the hourly weather constantly. Hitting the road at 8am and heading to Columbus for the game. Go Blue!

With ya brotha. I even took my dogs out before normal time. they looked at me like "wtf, dad,  we're sleeping. " now im mgoblogging. Luckily my wife knows I'm only on mgoblog, and not surfing the back pages at 430am.

No, but then again this week has been surreal. We're favored, we're the better team, we're gonna win. Everybody says it. It's different this year, at least up to this morning that's been the vibe. It's been like Christmas week, knowing they'll be presents to open soon. In my mind, we're going to have our way with these guys, but another part says those are talented dudes with problems that I'm fearing they'll work through for Michigan week. The fight song, the 'Script Ohio', the gold pants they hand out, it's all about Us. It's all about beating Us. I know we're on the 'Revenge Tour' but that mob is on the 'psycho tour' when it comes to us. If it's a solace, they're probably more anxious than we are and they've beaten us 14 out of 16.

Noon game is such a beautiful thing - it’s just not that far away right now. I feel like Bob Wiley trying to heed Dr. Leo Marvin’s advice - baby step to 12 o’clock, baby step to 12 o’clock.

My main concern obviously is the first half. I’m fucking terrified that we come out and play like we did against NW and that the halftime deficit is too much to overcome. Then I think about how they gave up 50 to Maryland and I feel better.

Nope. Always wake up at 4:30am and re-read all the double posts and threads about Chase on MGoBlog. And obsess about the weather in a place 600 miles away. Who doesn't start every day 3 hours before sunrise wondering if the defensive backs hydrated properly last night? If Shea has the right shoes for The Shoe? If Bench's mohawk is sufficiently spiked? Just another day in pre-game purgatory.

Very glad it’s a noon game today because I slept in a crib and was up at 430 with a sick kid. But I won’t even notice come game time nor care after a big win. Go Blue

Damn. I thought I am the only one. Best medicine I found is to play video game. Mindless shooting game takes the edge off completely for me.

I so want them to win for my heart's sake. I was also checking constantly for  Brett to drop a new bomb on Meyer.

Same here. Woke up at 3:00 because my 13 year old walks like an elephant and leaves bathroom lights on. The only thing that calmed me and got me back to sleep was listening to Seth and Brian on their podcast. I didn’t even make it to Bacon yet. It wasn’t because it was boring but it was the only way to get my mind to stop thinking... oh, and Seth’s Neil Diamond-esque voice explaining how terrible OSUs run D is that called my nerves.

good night moon.

We're packing up...getting ready to leave this sad city (Columbus)...going to the friendly confines of my family in Northern Indiana. Light rain...mid 40s right now. Rain will continue to diminish. The weather should/will not be a factor in this game...the field will be a little damp...wind should stay light-10ish mph.

Play hard...play smart.

Slept like a baby. For the first time in many years, not super nervous about game. UM should win. Sure, they might not, but getting back to the point where one can say "UM should win" has really been a mountain to climb.

Think about this: the last time we had really good teams were probably 2006 and 2016. We had the great misfortune of OSU *also* having great teams that year *and* having to play them in the Horseshoe in those years. While this year isn't perfect - also an away game - OSU does *not* have a great team this year.

Long story, short: relax. We are back!
