Great win.  The team looks like they're definitely further ahead than most Beilein teams are at this early stage of the season.  The ESPN talking heads really talked up Michigan.  One of them had Michigan in his group of 5 best teams right now.  That may be pushing things.  But, I really like the potential of this team.  As they improve their offensive game, they'll become even more dangerous.

Defense is killing it and Z continues to control everything smoothly. Nice days for Teske and Livers. It was encouraging to see that the offensive performance didn't completely grind to a halt with Matthews having a very quiet day, partly due to the early 2nd and 3rd fouls. Seemed like we gave up a fair amount of OReb and had some odd box out fouls but Providence looked long too so probably not a real concern at this point. Still want to see a bit more out of Poole on offense if we're going to improve there. The 7 man rotation seems set as we didn't expand that even with a back to back but they will have to avoid foul trouble as that limits lineup flexibility. Overall, a pretty comfortable win over a team that figures to be a potential tournament team and obviously we killed Villanova and GW too so this was a fantastic week. Can't wait to see how they stack up against North Carolina.

A win against UNC would be huge but I’ll take a close loss if it happens no shame in that. Games like this a resume builders win or lose. People forget we lost to a terrible LSU team and got are asses kicked against UNC but still made the national championship. These games are entertaining either way.

I watched that Wofford game, and as a result I'm actually really excited about getting to play NC as it looks like a great matchup strength wise for us.

They absolutely caved to Woffords defense (it's not great either, but NC gave up 15 turnovers and didn't out rebound them by much either). Wofford, people.

The game was pretty close, could have gone either way (while NC was ahead by 3-5 for most of the game), until 4:30 left in the second when a Wofford guy missed a 3, and Coby White hit one on NC's ensuing drive, which gave them a double digit lead.

Saw some more drive and kicks towards the end of the first and the second. That blew the game open. Great win. Good bounce back for iggy
