Michigan wins AT LEAST a share of their first ever division title

Per the B1G website.

At the bare minimum Michigan has clinched AT LEAST A SHARE of their first ever division title.

Means very little right now and we want no part of a co-championship.

Time to be greedy.

This is a non topic. No one is going to say we are shared division champs. The only people that would care about this are stat dorks.

This is weak sauce, but still a nice upgrade from the ‘Michigan cannot finish higher than 3rd in their own division’ garbage. Time to finish the revenge tour against the pathetic mainstream sports media.

For people saying this is not a thing, shut the hell up. This is awesome. We won at least a share of the Big Ten East, the toughest division in football. I will certainly enjoy that tonight. No more annoying ass state and OSU fans all saying Harbaugh finishes in third in his division. He at least has 1 first place finish in the division now. That being said it will be great to win the division outright next week!

TBH, I didn't even see who made the original post on this one. With the new MGoBlog, the av isn't in the OP, and unless you read for it, it doesn't instantly register. My point stands: A share of a division title doesn't mean anything if you're not playing in the championship game. As of right now, Michigan is not in the championship game. Celebrating a share today is pointless. This isn't the same as the old days of a share of a conference championship.
